  1. That's what shouldn't be difficult though. You're planning the next 5 years and tens of thousands of dollars, to piss down the drain, and it's being frowned upon to plan it all out and make sure you buy exactly what you want...
  2. You also said to go when salesmen aren't around. How does one sit in a vehicle without a salesman around? Then they're not supposed to sit in something because they're wasting your time because you don't want to assist somebody who isn't buying within a month. Salesmen, generally, suck. Not all, but most. I've dealt with good ones and I've dealt with ones trying to add on everything and go back and forth on prices and talking to people and making it all a sh!t experience.
  3. And being forced to avoid them is a pretty big problem. Not wanting to deal with a dealership because the majority of salesmen are jackasses shouldn't be a thing we should have to deal with when preparing to spend tens of thousands of dollars AND put money in their pocket. 1: I've been in the service industry and you do kiss ass plenty. 2: we're actually putting money in the pockets of the salesmen via commissions, maybe they should be a little less dickish and a little more kiss assish. Just because somebody isn't buying within a month doesn't mean you shouldn't try and buy that customers' attention and when they do purchase they have somebody they actually like and may refer somebody else to. Then rephrase that as "not be a douche".
  4. The salesmans' job is to literally serve the customer the same way a waiter is there to serve the customer at a restaurant. Too bad we can't tip car salesmen based on their performance. Instead they try and get as much from us as possible. You be a kiss ass because that's your job. If you don't like the service industry, get a different job. Otherwise, continue to kiss ass.
  5. There. I also said 'in the next year' meaning maybe a month, maybe 6 months, or maybe a year. You took that at the maximum the same way I took what you said at the extreme.
  6. And they wonder why people hate salesmen?
  7. The Ram is definitely the cleanest looking of the three. I also agree that it only looks "right" in certain trims.
  8. That's just a dick thing to even think. Somebody shouldn't go to a dealership unless they're looking to purchase immediately. GTFO with that crap.
  9. Why wouldn't somebody want to sit in something they might buy in the next year? Instead of being like "most" people and not properly planning large purchases, one decides to plan out a 5 year, $20-50,000 purchase, and it's odd that they'd want to check something out ahead of time? Seems like they're trying to be responsible and instead are hassled because that's what dealerships do, most of the time.
  10. I can't imagine what you think of the new Silverado if you think the F150 is overwrought.
  11. It's very difficult to sit in a car when the dealership is closed.. just say'n.
  12. I couldn't agree with this any more! It never is a a dealership..sadly.. I've almost never had a true "hassle free" experience at a car dealership.
  13. This isn't out of the norm for any luxury automaker and even non-luxury vehicles. Look at all of the half ton trucks, for example. Chevy Colorado has a 30k price spread as well. Starts at $20,200 and can be built to over $50,000. Lexus GS starts at 46k and can be built to 90k. Yeah they're not at the top but they're pretty close and offer performance trims their competitors don't save for the SRT Jeeps. There also isn't one brand that has a class leader in all of those segments so that's kind of a moot statement as each automaker kind of mixes and matches who's atop on each segment. Just because the Fusion is going away doesn't mean it isn't a good car and still towards the top half of its segment and for being around for 6 years already, isn't a bad testament towards the car.
  14. There's nothing wrong with the Fusion, Edge, or Explorer either.
  15. Yeah those are pretty much reserved for considerably pricier hot hatch versions rather than just a larger engine in the same car. It would have been perfect if Ford would have offered the 2.0T in the Titanium trim along with the ST.
  16. YUP! "Mazda is predicting about 188 horsepower and 170 lb-ft of torque from the 2.0-liter Skyactiv-X. Today’s 2.0-liter Skyactiv-G engine, as fitted to the 3, makes 155 horsepower and 150 lb-ft of torque, putting the X on a similar plane as the uplevel 3’s 184-hp 2.5-liter four. Mazda further claims the X will be up to 30 percent more efficient than the smaller Skyactiv-G. We’ll try to confirm those claims when we eventually test a production-spec Skyactiv-X in about two years when the next-gen 3 reaches dealerships."
  17. Challenger does the B pillar best, it’s not there. I thought the Mustang was like that as well but it looks like it might be from that pic.
  18. Good idea of power output, 152hp. Thats enough as my Focus has 160 but me personally would like a middle ground to the hot hatches for a nice daily that can get out of its own way a little better. I’d like numbers like what Ford’s 1.5t put out in the 180hp/200tq range.
  19. They also made it in this disgusting color.. In the same year and same vehicle they made one of my favorite colors and one of the ugliest colors!
  20. Yeah, I believe it was just the first model year for the MKC, 2015.
  21. I do with they would have pulled the roof further back so the rear window wasn't so horizontal.
  22. I agree with that order almost 100% except I'd throw the ATS behind all of them.. It's like an eye sore in the middle of all of those coupes(in that angle).
