  1. well I,ll say that it certainly, along with the new Volt.. looks fast as $h!. I think 2.0L drop in with just 320HP would be all that is needed to put a hurtin on the Ford Focus RS.
  2. Posting a preference for or against a particular product is fine. You werent being called a cheerleader for noting the Continental traffic ( which I agree was significant), you were called a cheerleader for incorrectly ascribing a cause to the difference between CT6 traffic and Continental traffic. It was bias for Continental because of your made up rationale and I called you on it.I've been calling him on it for10 years
  3. Acura Precision Concept: C. It just an execixze in obsurdity. the radical design is actually borring at this point. Who would have thought 2017 Audi A4/A4 Allroad: D/D. Jelly Bean.. I'm trufully sick to death of Audi's styling. Its boring in small, medium, and large. I really connot fathom what makes people see them as anything other than over-priced VWs. Audi h-tron Concept: D+. The plus is for teh technology, not the design 2016 BMW M2: A-. I'll agree. Its gonna be a quick lil bitch 2016 BMW X4 M40i: C. I am with the OP. What real reason do people think that a CUV.. needs to handle like an M-Series. Its silly. And it really detracts from the brand and the segment Buick Avista Concept: A++ This vehicle is so buildable it isn;t even funny. Frankly I'd settle for the Opel MOnza inspired GT... which I bet resembles this BUick a great deal. 2017 Chevrolet Cruze Hatchback: A+ Should have come a while ago.. I am actually fine with this over a coupe, but seriously believe the one thing it lacks is the return of the SS engine. 300HP+ Anyone? 2017 Chrysler Pacifica: B. I hate minivans, but a people mover shoudl be efficient. If this gets what FCA promises, 80MPG, then I'm all for it. Styling does make it livable 2017 Ford Fusion: C. I never saw what the hoopla was about. Outside of the grille.. the Fusion came off as plain jane. Now.. the grill is gone.. and all that is left is the rest of it. BLAH!!! 2017 Ford Raptor SuperCrew: Incomplete Whoopie, there is a supercrew version of the Raptor... Ford, just go back to your room and think about why this warranted a show debut. Also, planning to release power figures soon? 2017 Genesis G90: F-. Blatant stealing off someone else's paper used to get a failing grade when I was in school 2017 GMC Acadia: A- Like the ENVOY.. the ENVOY.. it replaces... it should offer a V8 or at least V8 power via the LF3 detuned to say.. 360HP. The 8Speed is missing as well. 2017 Honda Ridgeline: D. Japanese go home. Colorado and Canyon rule this land 2017 Infiniti Q60: B.. for the 400HP. The looks. SOrry.. I'm just not into the Infinti, Lexus look 2017 Lincoln Continental: B- To quote my Instagram: "Lincoln... I really want to like you, but you are making it so hard to do so." Something on the design just seems off. I agree. Nuff said 2017 Lexus LC 500: A- Props to Lexus for building it... It will get the driver noticed. Cadillac.. its your turn. Build the ElMiraj so the Lexus driver pulling right up to U.. doesn't get noticed at all. 2017 Mercedes-Benz E-Class: B for the sake of familiarity. I too have seen this before.. and it actually looks better as it gets larger. The C-Class is an awkward mess. The E seems to get better.. the S-Class drives it home. 2017 Volvo S90: A Props to Volvo too for building this. While I wouldn't buy one it defeinetly should out all near-luxo builders on notice. BUICK.. this is what U should do in terms of materials and finish in your Enclave
  4. Sergio isn't going anywhere til retirement. What I really wanna kno is what exactly were FCA's numbers then. That 7% Increase might not be exactly what we heard it was at end of the year 2015
  5. That's exactly what he is implying.. but only if its not Ford. GM was responsible for the airbags not going off.. but the girl dying, in an aforementioned case, was her own fault. At some point driver's need to be responsible for their own lives, and all the safety equipment in the world isn't going to save you when you operate a vehicle in a manner that is not only dangerous, but also illegal. This particular girl was illegally driving 3X the speed limit, and doing so while illegally under the influence. Let me ask you this. In this situation, had she been sober, and doing the speed limit, would she have crashed in the first place? Sure the ignition issue would exist, but she would have been alive to take it in for a recall GM was guilty 1) for not issuing a simple recall at that time 2) changing the actual part with a superior one once and for all, with a different S/N. The girl was guilty 1) for stumbling out of a bar or party 2) getting in her car 3) did not even buckle seat-belt 4) turning the key 5) backing it out on to the street 6) putting it in drive 7) Accelerating to 70 MPH in a 25 mile zone (normally a school zone or residential area) Endangering other innocent people as a result of negligent and wreck-less driving 9) being drunk to the point that she did all of this 10) being drunk to the point that she also blacked out or lost control and hit a tree. She literally had to do all of those things for the ignition switch to 1st, get shifted, 2nd, slam into a tree and no air bag deploying, and 3, the end result of death. Keep in mind she did not lose power until the accelerating up to 70mph, which means that the ignition switch probably shifted at the time she hit the curb and into the tree Thing is that if he got into an accident while failing to be secure in the vehicle by his seatbelt.. where does fault of head injury fall? On the manufacturer of the vehicle (even if it were Hyundai).. or the individual that failed to comply with a country wide law? I say the individual. This is no different.. In order to get into an accident where Air bags are deployed.. U have to get into the ACCIDENT first. Chicken or Egg. Apparently the inability of a coddled, ever growing weaker society resulted in the EGG.. in GM's face. In a world of oversensitive consumers and over-reactive lawyers, why would automakers go head first into autonomous driving? Where will this go, and what will the legal ramification lead to in terms of what is and what is not corporate responsibility?
  6. Wow... what if this is NA wide.. as in FCA's numbers are say down.. minimum.. 100K last year.. or more due to these numbers being fudged?
  7. Truly digging the All-Terrain. GF says she likes it, but would rather go with the Denali for the upscale look, and the 3rd row.. I say she's nuts.. the All Terrain just looks cool, and as U kno.. I hate 3rd rows
  8. Sell that product son!!! But not to me... I appreciate U posting this HD shot. I gotta be honest.. I am even more convinced that this thing lacks what I would be looking for in a luxury interior. It simply looks like they lathered a few mainstream surfaces in leather and wood. The design is a cluttered mess.. a mess that still sings TAURUS, even if it isn't. I will reserve final judgement for NYIAS. But I have a pretty good feeling that it will be one of those guys I get into.. look around.. and get out with this face Troll much? While his delivery lacks pizzazz I tend to agree. I am lost as to why people are on GMC for bringing out the Acadia with a 6Speed.. but not protesting the supposed return of Lincoln with the one in their "flagship."
  9. Thanks for the in depth article Drew. Good stuff. I think that GMC is going in the right direction with this. I will say.. unless the Blazer is actually coming here based on the Colorado7.. I think the Traverse should be doing the exact same thing. At this point.. only the luxury divisions should be the LWB of C1xx, maybe even stretch it out for the XT5 to make an XT6. I mean Chevy only has 20 vehicles in their line-up 4Godsake. Seriously. The question be asked by someone why.. for the time being.. does Cadillac not take this approach and keep the SRX as an XT4.. have their upcoming XT5, and also elongate it for an XT6?
  10. Two Chicago area dealership groups have filed a lawsuit against Fiat Chrysler Automobiles accusing the auto manufacturer of falsifying monthly sales figures in the U.S. FCA says the allegations are without merit. FCA has reported 69 monthly sales gains in the years since its bankruptcy in 2009. In the lawsuit, the one of dealerships claim that they were offered $20,000 to falsely report the sales of 40 new vehicles on the final day of a month. Those sales would then be backed out on the first day of the next month preventing the warranty clock on those vehicles from starting. The lawsuit further alleges that FCA rewards dealers who falsify the sales reports with a greater allocation of the best selling vehicles. Source: Automotive News View full article

  12. Says the guy who supports the monstrosities that Ford is kicking out wearing some weird knock off of Subaru at one brand, and Kia at the other. Please refrain from commenting on staying. Your credibility sucks
  13. Very mild. Don't expect any Grand Cherokee Overland type off-roading. I'm thinking that it will be on par with the system utilized in the Explorer. I think that to get to the Overland level they would have to go with the Colorado7 set-up anyway... very nice looking
  14. I kno plenty of H3 owners who do. I am still hoping that the H3, in particular, along with the H3T (with the new Wrangler PU announcement) get a revival
  15. U do realize that the new levels will be Yukon XL, Yukon, Acadia, Terrain.. and a vehicle, possibly Granite (?) under that right? Also... as said before by myself and a few others.. the option for a LWB is not out of the question i sure hope the returning Acadia lessees have that option of that XL available to them when they turn in the ones they have. Both the regular version and the "XL" should be available at the same time, launch so there are no gaps for the lessees. Actually.. internal data will show whether this was a good idea probably up to 4-5 months in to release. Basically because the old one will still be on the lot.. competing with the new one. If I were GM.. I wouldn't even drop the price of the Lambda one to move out old metal. I'd leave it wherever it is.. thus being able to truly gauge the take rate and why. That will tell them whether a LWB is a necessity right off the bat. At that point.. product planning can call on Spring Hill to start taking some of the Enclave or Traverse production for the GMC
  16. Fixed that for U Also... people. I think I really see where GM is going with this.
  17. I'm not. I wouldn't touch one with your wallet.. but then again I think a Cadillac CTS-VSport has 220 ponies less than I'm willing to pay for. Point is that put a non-turbo 4 banger in front of commentary of any enthusiasts and he/she will find some reason to hate it. Put it in front of the mainstream buyer.. and U will see 70+% of your sales not giving a $h! about 0-60 times as the buy that 4 cylinder
  18. People can't seem to get this as they ride around in their Toyotas, Hondas, Hyundais, VWs and BMWs. Funny part is 90% of them wouldn't have bought a Buick riding on GM newly acquired bones of Rolls Royce simply because of the "old people" stigma.. now they are hurt because someone else loves their American born brand. 230K Buick sales in U.S. vs 1.1 Million China sales.. I think even I would be playing to Chinese tastes.
  19. Call it what you like, but nobody but GM fans will know what the CT6 is and how to find it. The Continental is one of the darlings of the show. And I don't recall much hoopla the first time the showed the CT6. Were you in NYC for the debut of the CT6? I was... I had an invitation from Cadillac for the event... How did you get your invite? I remember the hoopla because I was there. Wings was no where near NYC. He isn't allowed to leave Michigan. I was there for the public appearance.. and it was getting mad attention
  20. The exterior, to me, has Cat- Dog syndrome.. Its shaped in a way that if it wasn't marked with headlights and tailights I wouldn't no which one was the front of the back. For those who don't remember Cat-Dog... or car related.. the Tartan Prancer from the "Vacation" Movie this Summer
  21. Coupla things. Its hilarious that some are trying to dog the vehicle out because it has a base 4Cylinder in it. Buy the 6 if U have a problem with it. Not to mention the Terrain has the 2.4L in it, for '15 at least.. 182HP/172lbs torque .. this has the 2.5L in it with 194HP/190 lbs of torque
  22. U do realize that the new levels will be Yukon XL, Yukon, Acadia, Terrain.. and a vehicle, possibly Granite (?) under that right? Also... as said before by myself and a few others.. the option for a LWB is not out of the question
