  5. how do you know its not stainless steel?thats the problem, in '00 they switched to regular steel with a ruber coat to save costs... but they corroded regaurdless of insulation...
  6. Easy: 2006 Dodge Charger Intermediate: Hrmm Mid 60's 4x4 silverado Hint: Genuine Chevrolet Hard: Dodge Ram Long Horn Edition? Hint: Bighorn Sheep. Evil/Know it all/SixtyEightPanther: i want to say early 90's ford pickup...but i really dont know Hint: Geography
  7. lol... they are cheap... and people are trying to improve their styling because they came with none from the factory
  8. I am this way, someone once told me that its really hard in debate class to argue both sides of something, but for the most part... i can generally put myself in someone elses shoes and argue the points i'd see they would have... its the best in decision making if you can think things on the whole playing feild... sometimes i do argue something that is out of character for me just for the fun of it... its always a good thing to see the pros and cons to every situation...
  9. thats the sad thing... i took an aveo out a few months ago... while its a pretty peppy car, it takes forever to get up to 85 mph... used to my 320hp monster but some guy tried to race me while i was driving the aveo.... ohh my lord, where has the art of drag racing gone, when a 15 year old japanese box tries to race a newfangled rounded off box with 40% more power? haha 70+Hp compared with the aveo's 100+ hp... wow lol really smart there buddy...
  10. comon this one isnt that hard...
  11. my favorite thing about italian cars... is 5-10 years later, GM makes the same vehicle with half the styling cues and the same amount of power on less cylinders... for a price everyone can afford...
  12. haha where is that :ThisThreadIsWorthlessWithoutPics: haha... glad to see you abord hope you get that Iroc running
  13. according to E85fuel.com these are the only places in California that sell or are about to sell the stuff... but i think the top three arent avalible to the public...Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory "Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory -- One Cycl Berkeley, CA 94720 Lawrence Livermore National Lab Lawrence Livermore National Lab Livermore, CA 94551 Vandenberg Air Force Base 1705 Air Field Road Lompoc, CA 93437 805-606-6867 Regional Transportation Center (RTC) 4001 El Cajon Blvd San Diego, CA 92105 619-521-2469 they have to change the tanks and the fuel lines becaues E85 can eat away at basic fuel lines that support gasoline... its the same reason why most cars cant handle E85, its not that the engine wont support it, its just longgevity the stuff will destroy all the plumbing...
  14. just because korea makes wierd looking cars, they are cheap to produce... with american leadership daewoo has a lot of potential...
  15. hrmm... i really hope nothing is going on behind the curtains... i love GM and dont want to see it be the next enron...
  16. hey good idea, might help create friction on icy roads... how about a retractable spoiler that alters areodynamics... porsche has something... but it could be improved... because what is areodynamic at 60 mph is not at 120mph... or at 160mph...
  17. i never realized that on the cobalt they had 2 different bolt paderns? a 4 bolt and 5 bolt for the rims... is it just SS models to get the 5 bolt?
  18. for the sunglasses, they tint almost instantly with brightlights, but they take near 30 seconds to clear back up if you go into a dark room... so it might be bad if the car goes into a tunnel or something...
  19. woops i checked again, and this morning its been changed back to just tahoes...
  20. yea thats what i ment... because at low speeds basically you want long stroke, and at high speeds you want short stroke... thus at high speeds making the vehicle more efficent... hrmm... what else could be innovative? hrmm well we could always go with the obvious... put an oven in the car, so the engine can heat some food... hahah, i'm sure thats already been done, i know truck drivers will put stuff in foil under their hood for a while... what else... perhaps umm... tinted windows that are made of that stuff that gets darker with brightness... so at night your windows would be crystal clear, but in the day they would be tinted...
  21. correct... how long was that chevelle's power unmatched by any automanufacture? and which vehicle was the first to outpower it?
  22. Which Chevy car was the only vehicle to ever out power the corvette? What year? I've got a part two to this as well... but lets get this done...
  23. nope any kind of heavy weight like that can break them regaurdless of material... but it doesnt help if they start to rust or whatever... when the 4 million were recalled a total of 38 minor injories were reported... but... its not too big a deal i dont think...
  24. GMBUYPOWER has updated their search to include 07 suburbans, yet their arent any avalible in my area... should be a week or so more...
