  1. Fuel economy is not a strong point but everything else appears to be positive. Standard AWD is pretty hot but it probably brings down mileage a bit. Is this the Aerio replacement?
  2. Wow...it sort of looks like a concept. This is the productionv ersion, right? There are only a couple hints it shares a platform with the 'Nox/Torrent. I like it a lot! GM should take a hint about the center stack. If you are going to make the immediate surround black, just make the whole stack black.
  3. A nice mish-mash of different vehicles already on the market but the 6-speed with magnesium paddles and aluminum roof sounds pretty cool. They are loading this up with some features, too. I am sure it will do better than the last-gen. Edit: spelling.
  4. The Vue is a nice start, a good vehicle to test the program out on. If it works, it needs to be expanded quickly. Cobalt, Impala, Aura would be good candidates, as well as the GMT900 SUVs, which are getting something like this, right? The Accord Hybrid mileage does not warrant the extra performance. This may be the same for all "performance hybrids," I guess we'll see. Hybrid sales are still going to be strong. The Civic and Prius still have waiting lists, the Vue will be flying off lots and I bet the Camry will have a waiting list, too.
  5. I take the train every day to and from school. Even though I find it annoying and a huge pain in the ass to plan my schedule around the train schedule, it saves me a boatload of money. Gas+parking+maintenance=I'll take the train and walk a few blocks.
  6. I guess Edmunds really did have a problem with the power steering in the Lucerne.
  7. The Outlook's interior looks awesome in that combo and I am sure the center stack plastic blends in more. I am still not a fan of the wood and brown leather combo as well as the center stack on the Aura. It destroys the interior.
  8. I think it looks alright but I need more photos. I am not a huge fan of the site. The interior looks like Nissan designed it.
  9. I kind of like the Reno but the fuel mileage does suck for what it is. I don't know if any of you noticed on the news (I saw it on Foxnews.com) but Nissan updated and lowered the Versa's MPG. I think it went from 38 to 33.
  10. Can you read?
  11. But just wait for next year!
  12. The front is too busy, especially for an Acura. I like its conservative designs.
  13. Thank you, Turbie, for not posting something along the lines of "OMG Rosie lesbian pics, it's UGLY" just because of who makes it. I would like to point out that the recently shown Saturns commit the same style stealing crimes you accuse Toyota of. It's bound to happen in such a huge industry. This hits the exact target market Scion is going for and then some.
  14. The exterior is horrible, it looks like a chop in those pictures. The interior, on the other hand, looks great.
  15. I love the E55 but come on, brand new?
  16. My car gets 30MPG. I am becoming afraid to see GMT900 sales, though, if this trend continues.
  17. I think it looks pretty good, a nice evolutionary change. The interior is much improved, you can even see how different the materials are and that is pretty hard to do. I hate the hood cutout, though. It stands out way too much.
  18. I think the platform is the same but the design and photo angles make it appear larger. I am on the fence with this one. The front is alright but I am really not a fan of those huge taillights and the side profile with that character line is horrible. The interior looks alright.
  19. LOL. I was going to put the Stratus/Sebring interior photos in but I figured new (and better, hopefully) ones will be here in a few months. I think the Sonata's interior is the absolute worst of any midisze sedan, design-wise at least.
  20. Another point: who is going to stop car companies from building their powertrains around the updated EPA tests?
  21. Just for comparison's sake (tried to get them all from the same site, top-of-the-line): Aura: Accord: Altima: Camry: Fusion: G6: Galant: Malibu: Mazda6: Sonata:
  22. There is a way to make a car do well on the EPA tests. It's called building the powertrain around the tests. Toyota is not the only one to do this either. We have seen real world figures for the GMT900 and 20MPG (or whatever it is) is a dream. By the way, I do not see any difference in the above numbers. A source would help, too.
  23. I agree, the crease does start too low in the front but the rear looks good so far. I think this is just your basic refresh. You should see the 2007 Maxima. The headlights have been changed and wood added to the interior. That's about it. The next-gen E-Class (as Benz is calling it) silences the crowd, too, and not in a good way.
  24. How rebadges are done correctly...GM is learning! The Enclave would be mine.
