  1. A brand new Mary Kay DTS
  2. Oh, I'm Jealous now!
  3. "Desperado"- Eagles
  4. Yeah, parking spaces are hell in a new car... The Impala has already been "love tapped" by some idiot in a lot, scuffing up the bumper from taillight to exhaust pipe ( )
  5. I didn't know Arnie owned GM Dealers... When I think "Arnold Palmer", all I can picture is those lame, geriatric, Sears-bought golf shirts my grandfather wears in the summer :AH-HA_wink:
  6. I can't say I've been interested in anyone but girls... @K.C.- I really feel for your family, dealing with addictions is painful, and watching people self destruct at their mercy is equally painful as watching a beloved family member slip into Alzheimer's Disease. Addictions (not to drugs, but to drink and to gambling) have damaged many persons on both sides of my family, so much so, that I've made a life decision to abstain from all alcohol (except for Communion Wine, perhaps, but that's more of a rare technicality) as well as gambling. I'm doing this to protect my family from the anguish that other more distant relatives have brought. Besides, by popular "Designated Driver" custom, it also entitles me to all the Dr. Pepper and Sprite I can drink at parties. I recently had the pleasure of getting to know a few female acquaintances better that I know through someone else at the Model UN this weekend, and I've got to say, as attractive as they are, they're alcoholics and awful crude, but they see this as a positive personality attribute... The whole path these girls are on is regrettable, but alot of people need a wake up call before they grow up I suppose.
  7. If GM Makes one of those, I'd sell my family for one!
  8. The Corvette brochures here in Canada are just like the other Chevrolet, Pontiac, and Buick brochures that are just freely and openly on display... For 75$ it had better be a damn good brochure. The Canadian One, if you want to E-Mail it to your friend... https://gm.ca/media/vehicles/current/chevro...Brochure_EN.pdf
  9. I don't give a flying crap about "soft touch" plastics, if the cloth upholstery is as crappy as it is. Yes. The HHR does induce random fits of clausterphobia, and yes, quite a few ergonomic items are questionable, but the upholstery isn't that run of the mill, unsubstantial, every-import cloth.
  10. No, the curse is the fact that no party after being ousted from power in Alberta history has ever come back to run things ever again.
  11. I've never understood this too. I got a chance to scrutinize a loaded Vibe GT (2008) and a 2008 HHR LT and I couldn't help but say that the HHR was better in every way.
  12. The Way I see It... Safe Brands: Chevy Buick Cadillac Opel Merge: Buick and GMC Divisions into one Buick-GMC division to conserve costs and make a larger talent and engineering pool. Saturn into Opel- OUTLOOK is more redundant than Acadia, and that's the only distinct NA product... offer it as a Euro import VW esque franchise system with a BMW level of dealer distribution and for the love of god get rid of that pricing policy, it's nothing but an anchor. Pontiac: Let's see how it goes. Saab: Fix it or quit it. Could be sold alongside Opels at a GME Retailer (OOH, the Prestige)
  13. I just noticed- does the white Hood donor car have "Arnold Palmer" plates, if so, they're hitting the stereotypes up there hard, are they not?
  14. Glad that society has mostly gotten over this misconception, for sure.
  15. I for one plan to write a letter.
  16. It was an ugly duckling... and thus the 3800 becomes the Buick V6 once more.
  17. Go out and have a good one!
  18. We won't elect one largely because of "the curse"
  19. Thank You- After Four Fleeted Vehicles, we just haven't had any problems related to owner's abuse.
  20. Damn, Oldsmoboi... It ALREADY looks better than a stock Roadmaster Estate! They all should have been built with the sedan front-end.
  21. Now that the votes are counted... He's carried 73 of 83 Precincts, or 88% of all precincts. @Booyah- The record was 75 Set by Peter Lougheed in 1982... So he came within 2 Precincts.
  22. 2 Impalas, one Deville with Night Vision.
  23. I know that there's a general agreement against political talk, but seeing as there's only 4 forum members from Alberta, of which two are largely active; and of those two, one still lives there... I Hope that this is appropriate to post. When you think of the political dynasties of parties that have ruled forever, you probably think about China's Communist Party, or Perhaps Sweden's Social Democratic Party... Well you can add another party to that list... That's right, American buddies, the Cartel Canadian province that your country gets half its oil from, has been ruled by the same political party since 1971, and after winning a Landslide majority government tonight, in which the election was called twenty minutes after the polls closed- the result: a super-majority. The Progressive Conservative Party of Alberta will rule for an eleventh term, guaranteed to rule for 41 Years. No matter where I go, and no matter what I do, you just rarely see stuff with this kind of Longevity, so I thought It'd be an interesting C&G story for the day.
  24. You can kick my Cavalier too... In fact- you can kick it WITH your Cobalt :AH-HA_wink:
  25. I'm thinking of seeing Scotland this year... Tracing some family roots, seeing Calgary Bay in Mull (near my Grandmother's birthplace), the namesake of my hometown, Buy a MacDonald kilt, maybe Eat some Shortbread
