  1. Great pics, Camino. It's good to see a Mercury that's close to stock (the black 2-door), and not destroyed by being chopped or otherwise defaced. At my brother's wedding, we had my Dad's '67 Malibu SS396, my stepmom's '72 Luxury LeMans, brother's '68 Malibu 327, his friend's dad's '68 Malibu 327, and another of his friends' '69 F-100. I got to drive the '72 Pontiac and my bro's '68 Malibu. One thing that's so cool about older cars is their infinite ability to be modified. So much of that is gone now, with new cars, except for a few.
  2. I like the Impreza Outback and the STi with the nice looking 5-spoke rims, but this Mitsu is more attractive as a hatch than the Impreza, I'm afraid.
  3. Them is some fat tires on that little Datzuki. I am not a fan of the cheesy graphics packages, which are clearly meant to distract a potential customer from the truth about the truck's origin.
  4. Once again, to be honest, pearl white is not my first colour choice, but "it's her car!" :AH-HA_wink: The door edge guards, though, dude, they definitely detract from the flowwwwing flanks of the G6 sedan. I'd be out there in the middle of the night excising them. I wish her many miles of happiness in her new Pontiac! EDIT: I have seen those edge guards in body color. They would still be chip-resistant, but they would blend in so much better on that pretty car.
  5. Well, we got my younger brother married off this weekend. I was Best Man. A few ppl made the comment to me "you're next!" I laughed them off, but inside it was the same old story: "if you knew, would you say the same?" I am soooo tired of repression.
  6. I hope you both enjoy this day.
  7. Well I wasn't home, sorry I missed your day, moltie. Hope it was good.
  8. 1. 2003 ION Quad Coupe level III 2. Nope. Not a chance any more.
  9. Shoot I forgot about the HHR. I love that little wagon.
  10. 1. My beloved Sierra 2. Probably not, unless a really nice '09 Canyon comes into view.
  11. 1. Zero 2. Possibly. Candidates: Solstice coupe, G6 coupe, G5 GT. Other Pontiacs I like are out of my price range... G8 ST.
  12. Lets say you're in Iraq, or another hostile country like Philadelphia, and a gang of thugs are chasing you. You spot a clapped-out '84 S-10 Iron Duke with a 5 speed with the keys in it, and it's your only way to escape certain dismemberment. What do you do? EVERYONE NEEDS TO BE ABLE TO DRIVE A MANUAL TRANSMISSION!
  13. 1. '98 S-10 ZR2. 2002 Silverado 2WD regular cab shortbox. 2004 Colorado Z71 extended cab 4X4. 2. Possibly. Candidates: '09 Colorado, '09 Cobalt coupe, Camaro 3.6L. But I keep going back to the Solstice coupe, G6 coupe, or even a G5 GT.
  14. Is he torturing you, Camino? :AH-HA_wink:
  15. I checked Pontiac's website... a nearby dealer has a dark blue GT coupe with Sun&Sound and the 18's...
  16. I own a GMC and I love it, but as far back as I can remember, GMC has been a redundant brand. GM needs to kill Saturn, sell Hummer and SAAB... and *gasp* maybe euthanize GMC in this hostile climate before entertaining the dubious thought of killing Pontiac.
  17. Well no. This is still America, we speaka ze English here. For the time being.
  18. Congratulations on the new Pontiac!
  19. Through the use of my considerable computer skills, I have been able to ascertain the address of the "little old lady" who will be delivering Mr. cruiser's car. She lives in Pasadena. Not sure how that pertains to the subject at hand, just thought I'd throw it out there.
  20. Fairlady
  21. Is it white? If so, millions of ppl watched it for what seemed like years, as it drove sloooowly down a California highway, followed by a lot of flashing lights. :AH-HA_wink:
  22. The black rubber trim around the outside of your quarter glass is made to the glass, it is one unit. They had to get another quarter glass assembly to fix the damage to the rubber. We have a "glass guy", too, but he takes care to remove interior trim panels to prevent marring them with the air knife he uses to cut glass out of cars. I suspect the damage to the rubber surround occured when the glass was cut out the first time. The damage to the interior quarter trim probably happened when he rushed to cut out the damaged glass and put in the new one, he left the trim panel in instead of pulling it out.
  23. I'd like to think it means Saturn is dead, the Insignia stays in Europe as an Opel/Vauxhall.
  24. To me, this signals another precipitous downturn in GMNA's future. This is not happy news at all. We are witnessing GM go from undisputed Top Dog in the USA to something akin to a second-tier Eastern European brand. Truly sickening.
  25. Shall I PM my address so you can mail my duplicate key?
