  1. I think for my family lifestyle and location the Golf Sportwagen/Alltrack is probably the perfect size for our needs.
  2. Hasn't Subaru been partially owned by Toyota for a decade or so, around 20%, and by GM preceeeding that?
  3. It and the CRV are closer to a midsize than the small Equinox, Tucson etc but it feels like an old chassis (soft riding but loses composure over expansion joints), has fuel economy you would have expected in 2010 not 2017 (save the hybrid), and like all Toyotas there is still no Android Auto/Apple CarPlay in 2017?
  4. RAV4 doing so well even though the standard powertrain and suspension are awful.
  5. In the 3 classes where 300k unit sales for a model is possible, Ford is really dated.. I don't see a viable entry from them in the subcompact CUV class yet either. VW needs to offer the SWB Tiguan too but maybe they haven't figured out a way to do it cheaply enough.
  6. Outside of trucks, once the new Accord debuts, they will have one of the fresher lineups in the heart of the market (compact car, compact CUV, midsize sedan and I guess subcompact CUV's are up there now too) along with Chevrolet, and all of them are pretty much at or near the top of their class in sales.
  7. I expect their sales to go up nicely when the new Tiguan arrives.
  8. Where are you getting your 133 mile range info... I'm seeing conflicting info including one amateur hour site that said 215 miles or 133km.. 215 miles is ~346km. I'm assuming range is 215 miles. This "news" post is just as bad as the other report saying no Model 3's would arrive until 2018 because orders put in now won't be built until 2018..
  9. CTS sales have never been good this gen, but that Is put a fork in it awful. Caddy needs an XT3 at the very least.
  10. Ouch, horrid month for the Cruze, Bu and Impala.
  11. 2017 Porsche Cayman S 2017 VW Golf R 2009 Honda S2000 2017 Toyota Tacoma Access Cab 4cyl 5 speed 2018 Volvo XC60 T5
  12. My brother has an Escalade and 300 SRT8, along with a 13 and 15 year old. He has already told me to not get rid of my 07 TSX without giving him first rights. That might finally get me to part ways with it in a few years.
  13. I like it more than the 5 door Regal or any fwd based entry lux, maybe more than most rwd entry lux as well, kind of over loving the c300. Just based on pics, initial reviews, and an auto show exterior view from 20 feet away. A shooting brake version would be awesome.
  14. Very predictable. I'm sure it drives fine but in this class I think I would lean towards the new XC60 or F-Pace.
  15. IMO Fit, Civic, HRV, CRV,Pilot > Yaris, Corolla,CHR,RAV4,Highlander
  16. Haven't warmed up to the new Camry front end yet.. Expecting this Accord to look like a bigger Civic up front but time will tell.
  17. Took their sweet time getting the Type R back to North America, looks like they nailed it... I think fans of the old Integra Type R have aged out of driving something so over styled by now (and it was nice and understated aside from the little badge). I never drove an Integra R but my friend let me drive his Integra GSR a handful of times, it was a great little car. I could only see myself in one of these if it was black and didn't have the wing.
  18. Venzas used to be plentiful around here but I don't see them much anymore. I thought it looked fine aside from the front as well. Surprised Toyota didn't come out with a second gen in this anything crossover'ish sells environment.
  19. I found your numbers... "Popularity based on calendar-year sales through July 2016" Full year Toyota Camry 388,618 Honda Accord 345,225 Nissan Altima 307,380 Ford Fusion 265,840 Chevrolet Malibu 227,881 Hyundai Sonata 199,416 Kia Optima 124,203 Volkswagen Passat 73,002 Subaru Legacy 65,306 Chrysler 200 57,294 Mazda 6 45,520 Buick Regal 19,833 Volkswagen CC 3237 Dodge Avenger 45
  20. Nope the Full year numbers are to the right of the monthly numbers.. And this link confirms, Camry sold ~388,000 in 2016. Your numbers are low http://www.tflcar.com/2017/01/toyota-camry-leads-midsize-sedan-sales-overall-sales-2016-news/
  21. Where did you find those numbers? http://www.goodcarbadcar.net/2017/01/usa-midsize-car-sales-stats-december-2016-year-end.html
  22. Acura is so stuck in the mud, they might as well make it their electric brand at this point.
  23. "Hyundai will also be adding an electric variant that promises a range of 240 miles sometime next year." This is what caught my eye.
  24. Too bad "Sport" doesn't seem to bring back a little more fun they softened out of the previous generations. Still a fantastic car as far as subcompacts go.
  25. Not trying to match the 2018 Camry with its new chassis and 301hp v6 I guess.
