  1. That is nothing new, though...GM has had these issues for decades.
  2. True, true...my childhood hometown down the river from there (Steubenville) lost a ton of mill jobs in the 70s, never recovered and has maybe 1/2 of it's population left today. Same story anywhere that a city has a dying, old-economy industry as it's main employer(s) and doesn't diversify.
  3. More than the Nautilus and less than the Navigator?
  4. True...Liberty was the replacement for the XJ Cherokee, though. It was still a RWD/4WD SUV.
  5. True, the CUV (FWD car based) trend has really just been the last 10-15 years. GM still had midsize RWD truck based SUVs a decade ago...
  6. Not sure if I'd say 'finally', the SUV/CUV game has been strong for 20 years...
  7. As a long time Browns fan, it's nice to actually see the Browns have something to cheer for again. Still a Broncos fan from the decade+ I spent in Colorado, though.
  8. Cool..I love Prince. Saw in Vegas years ago.
  9. Yeah, the 'U', etc...
  10. That's pretty funny....for some reason, Mr CtG, I thought you were a Millennial (under 30). Mistaken..
  11. That's better, less vomit-inducing than the regular one or the 1500.
  12. Maybe packaging issues? The RAM has a lot more space than the Wrangler/Gladiator under the hood...
  13. If I were 25, I'd be living in a major tech city but probably have an SUV. Closer to 50, I like being in the suburbs with a yard and square footage, though I'd like more garage space. But I'm never going back to rural. My Dad loved the farm, I liked it as a kid, but now couldn't take the isolation and lack of nearby amenities..
  14. Maybe they are thinking GT--Green Touring.
  15. Remember, in blu’s area, ‘alternative power’ means horse and buggy, not EV or hybrids.
  16. The new Jimny would make a neat 2dr Tracker.
  17. Isn't that the SOP for GM? Fewer features and cheaper components on lower trim levels? Make you pay more to get the good stuff..
  18. It's a good looking car, esp. like the front end compared to other recent Chevys. Really nice headlight & grille treatment. Profile is nice also, though I think the wheelbase is too short relative to the length...kind of look 'pinched' front certain angles.
  19. Sounds like part of his con was using company funds to decorate/maintain 5 houses/apartments in 5 different countries also. And reporting only $44 mill of income in Japan when it was really $88 mil for 2016 or something like that.
  20. Those are optional novelties in the US on some vehicles, are they required equipment in Europe?
  21. Maybe they could improve the Chevy HD front by attaching giant chrome fangs from the cross bar and at the bottom of the grille, like a shark mouth.
  22. I assume they are using an existing transmission to save money.
  23. I can only imagine how huge the grille is going to be on the GMC version...
  24. So Motor Trend is saying the gasoline engine may be a Navistar 6.6 V8 from MD Trucks.
