  1. The better comparison would be the Blazer and XT5, though. The XT4 lines up with the Equinox in terms of platform and size.
  2. Saw a few clean vintage GMs whilst out and about yesterday. -A '70 Buick Grand Sport in silver w/ black vinyl top -A black '69 Buick LeSabre 4dr ht w/ Buick road wheels -A white '65 Olds 88 2dr ht -A black '66-67 Corvette convertible -A silver blue '77 Pontiac Grand Prix (different car than the one I saw for sale last month). and on the weird end of the spectrum a blacked out '91-92 Olds Custom Cruiser wagon w/ purple headlights and a padded top w/ the big rear side windows covered. I think I've seen this car around before from a distance. As far as other marques, I saw a sharp white '59 Thunderbird convertible (black top up), and saw a clean dark red '82-84ish Lincoln Continental..think it's the same car I saw a couple months ago.
  3. Speaking of Bugatti, I wonder when they will get a mega expensive W16 SUV...they have the Urus as the 'supercar' SUV, the Bentyaga as the superluxury SUV, so they need a Bugatti 'hypercar' SUV..
  4. Speaking of Jeep naming, I saw on a Jeep FB page recently the 'Mall Rated' badges as a counterpoint to the 'Trail Rated' badges...
  5. Since they have Trailhawk, Trackhawk and Sandhawk coming, maybe future Jeep EV versions will be badged as Electrohawk...
  6. That's pretty f'ed up, if the Equinox and Traverse get the 2.0T but not the Blazer..
  7. I assume the 2.5 NA engine is cheaper to build than the 2.0 turbo. Interestingly, the only midsize or larger GM CUV so far w/ the 2.0 is the XT5 in China. Otherwise, it's only the compact CUVs using the 2.0T so far...
  8. Yeah, the 2nd gen Acadia downsized...maybe you missed all the posts where regfootball had a freakout about it.. Here's a chart of how I see them all lining up, note there are gaps that may be filled with future models. GM crossover chart brand subcompact compact midsize fullsize ---------------------------------------------------------------------- chevy Trax Equinox Blazer Traverse gmc Terrain Acadia buick Encore Envision Enclave cadillac XT4 XT5
  9. Traverse is larger. Different niche. Traverse is the Enclave sized crossover, Blazer will be the Acadia sized crossover.
  10. Side profile is similar to the concept the new Rav4 was based off..
  11. Why not? The Blazer is just an Acadia w/ different interior and exterior styling. Same dirty bits.
  12. Not sure about that... sounds like the dimensions will be virtually identical to the Acadia from what I've read in other articles.
  13. Same steering wheel as the Acadia. Different center pad.
  14. I would think the US market will get something like this...an EV CUV from Chevy bigger than the Bolt would do well, I think...this concept looks better than the Blazer, IMO.
  15. 2.5 and 3.6. It's basically an Acadia w different interior and exterior styling.
  16. A mix of Camaro and Nissan styling cues.
  17. Statement of being alive, I suppose. A good BM or five is part of a good day. As opposed to the misery of constipation or diahrrea. Keep on poopin'....
  18. Sitting at a light behind a yellow Cobalt coupe I noticed 2 of it's bumper stickers (on the rear decklid)--- 'My Other Ride is a Tardis' (Dr Who fan) and the other was a brown circle with the message 'I Pooped Today!'.. what a great sticker and sentiment. I need one of those.
  19. Nice.. I've worked for small companies where the owners had interesting cars, but nothing exotic. One consulting firm I was at the owner had a Boxster S (which I drove once), a startup I was at the owner had an Audi TT roadster, other startup/small company owners I worked for had more ordinary transportation like a first gen Prius, a Yukon, an Acura TLX, a VW CC..
  20. Well, it's not the first Volvo without a diesel option...I don't think the P1800 or C70 had a diesel version, for instance. A more accurate statement might be 'it's the first recent Volvo sedan without a diesel option', though.
  21. I like the Trailhawk...the guy in the cubicle next to me at work last year bought a lt gray one the same day I bought my Limited. He drives it to his house in Mexico often, and often drives on dirt roads.. I'd probably go for the Sterling edition or Overland if I were buying a new '18.
  22. I heard the buyer was David MacNeil, the Weathertech floor mats king, racing team owner, etc.
  23. Very sharp. Elegant, clean exterior and interior design. I really like where Volvo has been going w/ their recent designs.
  24. I don't recall GM ever using that name.
  25. Could have meant bucket seats (2 front seats) or front bench and rear bench (2 bench seats). I've heard some people refer to those configurations as '2 seaters'... Was a '63 Impala 2dr ht at one time.
