  1. They apparently won't have anything w/ 390hp...they have ranges and gaps between them. Or they can go back and fill in the gaps with 57, 58 etc.
  2. Sounds like they are sort of copying Tesla, which has the Model S 60, 70, 75, etc for kWh.. Why not just randomize the numbers---maybe 50 is the lowest, 30 is the highest, and something in the middle might be 80. Keep people guessing..
  3. oh well....onward through the fog with FCA...
  4. Back in '12 I took the '00 DTS into the neighborhood Cadillac dealer for some repairs, and was pleasantly surprised that even with a 12 yr old car that I didn't buy from them, they gave me a CTS as a loaner..
  5. I have no interest in reproducing myself, but I do think that only the most well educated and those that can afford it should reproduce..no point in reproducing if you can't afford it. Kids are very expensive and a huge responsibility.
  6. Remember, it's your responsibility to spay and neuter...help prevent overpopulation...
  7. Maybe in your reality, but I don't think Tesla owners think that way... the real world isn't all an Amish paradise..
  8. If it's crossover based, sounds like it may be like the Ridgeline.
  9. Seems pretty light all things considered...only about 50 pounds more than the E39 M5, which some consider the gold standard for BMW sports sedan driving experience..
  10. It is funny after the Banglized styling of the E60 generation how much the F10 and now this new G30 generation resemble the classic E39 in profile.
  11. They did do a V10 M5 two generations back.. the in-wheel hub motor thing is just fantasy at this point, no one is producing cars with them yet...a hybrid version would confuse the M performance message.
  12. Meh.. VW has been talking about a bus revival for at least 20 years...I'll believe it when I see it.
  13. Would make a great range topper for Maybach, competing against the big Bentley and Roller convertibles. Love the wheels and rear shape..
  14. Maybe Great Wall could sell their compact Wingle pickups as Rams in the US...'Ram Wingle' sounds like a badass name, right? http://www.gwm-global.com/all-vehicles.html?ModelCategory=Pickup
  15. Found this today--Great Wall eyes FCA bid http://www.bbc.com/news/business-40998235
  16. Is this the car that has a platform and engineering shared w/ Toyota/Lexus? (the rumored new Supra, etc).
  17. As an aside, I didn't realize the US-market JK generation Wrangler were all V6s...hasn't been a US market 4cyl Wrangler since the last TJ in '06.
  18. Z8 was a beautiful car, IMO...
  19. Heh-heh...I'm thinking Challenger SRT..
  20. Strong Corvette vibe to the profile.. Ouch..less than 3 years from 50, I'm feeling it.. I need a fun car for my 50th.
  21. Looks like MBUSA has updated the S-class page for MY 2018...
  22. Remember, sales volume is the only measure of best in SMK's view of the luxury market.
  23. It's a little different in that with M-B it's models within the same brand...while GM's approach has long been overlapping models in multiple brands competing with each other...like Chevy and GMC trucks...extreme examples would be like when they had Chevy, Saturn, Pontiac, Olds and Buick ----most with similar versions of the same model like the minivans, GMT360 SUVs, A-bodies, J-bodies, etc... for the most part, those days are behind GM, but there is still some of it..
  24. Sales of any spec Cruze must not be too great... I have seen very few of the 2nd gen models, either here on in Arizona earlier this year..
