  1. Nova would go well with Viva. And why not develop a uniquely styled coupe or 3dr off the 'Cruze' and call it Monza---to replace the Cobalt coupe?
  2. I wonder if in the interm until the Astra is here, maybe they will just rebadge the G3 and G5 (the 4dr version) as Buicks. Sounds like something GM would do..
  3. Well, their was talk of a SAAB version of the Theta/Epsilon. With SAAB's future unknown, maybe GM is repurposing that CUV...or maybe it's a version of the Captiva...
  4. Hmmm.... 'baby Enclave' could be a variation of the new Equinox/Terrain, something to fit between the Terrain and SRX.
  5. I think the bird(s) conspires w/ the neighbor's cats. They leave pawprints and scratches on my hood. Rob
  6. How about black w/ Sprinkles? Dark blue w/ sprinkles definitely is dirty (bird poo on my Jeep, like frosting sprinkles on a donut...but not in a good way).
  7. I like black, never had one...dark blue (like my Jeep) has the same problems w/ keeping clean, unfortunately. Generally, I like dark colors more than lighter colors---dark gray, dark green, dark red, maroon, dark blue...
  8. Speaking of black paint, I like matte (low gloss) or flat black. A few high end Euro models have it as an option..would love to see it more common. Low maintenance, and looks great w/ matching black wheels.
  9. They've never been exposed to HD. I haven't paid attention to LED, will have to look into it when I buy my next TV...still enjoying my older 1080p DLP and 1080p LCDs...
  10. Sounds like it must be something w/ your browser settings.. I can go several days w/o logging in, both in going to the main page from a bookmark or directly or clicking on a update email.
  11. A silver '10 Camaro from a distance on the freeway this AM, second '10 Camaro I've seen this week, and 2nd I've seen period.
  12. Would have been cool if it had been the same guy...the Olestra article is the funniest thing I've read in a while. Reality-based poo humour never goes stale, IMHO.
  13. And what about Magna? They are NA based..will be interesting to see if they have any vehicles in the NA market within a few years...
  14. As PSA has stated this week they are considering more JVs or mergers, so who knows? These are strange days, times of failure and despair, yet also times of new possibilities and opportunties...
  15. Maybe they will cut a deal w/ Chery or another Chinese sh*tbox maker to bring over a sedan to be the new S-series.
  16. That's pretty funny...I managed to get $1500 out of my '88 Bronco II (even w/ the rust and broken drivers' seat, etc) when I traded back in '00...seems like long ago and far away...
  17. ..And GM has pretty much axed all the middle rungs--Oldsmobile, and now Pontiac and Saturn. Buick is all that is left.
  18. Yes, esp. in northern climes...it's the opposite here in PHX...a convertible is very much a winter car here..
  19. An uncle had a '71 ragtop and later a '73 coupe, both Centurions..I have vague memories from about age 4-9 of riding in them in the '70s.. I love the fuselage styling of the big GMs of that era...my dream car garage would have a '71 Centurion convertible, '71 Riviera, '72 Impala sport coupe, '71 Olds 88 ht, '71 Catalina or Bonneville, a '71 Coupe De Ville, amongst other '60s-70s GMs, Fords, and Mopies...
  20. I think if I had any classic GM convertible, I'd want a '71 Centurion...I just love the '71-72 B-bodies, and esp. the Buick body sculpting...
  21. Yeah, I just saw it quickly breeze past on the opposite side on the freeway...pretty sure it wasn't a GS..didn't have a blacked-out grille. Had the Buick road mags. Don't see those very often. Rob
  22. An interesting mix tonite on the way home.. A white w/ white top '88 or so Town Car that spotless--looked new...have a soft spot for those, since my Dad always drove them and I drove his to high school occasionally. A white w/ white top '71-72 Buick Skylark convertible, very clean.. A very clean bronze mid '80s Celebrity 4dr, A/C must have been out--had the windows down A worn out faded red late '80s LeSabre, also w/ the A/C out and all the windows down, no rear window, and decklid tied w/ a bungee cord An '00-05 Impala, painted 4 different primer colors. No idea what color it originally was.
  23. First I've ever heard that...I've always read of the Lambdas described as full-size, everything from Autoblog to Car & Driver to Wikipedia. The Equinox, Torrent and upcoming Terrain and SRX are the GM mid-sizers, GM has nothing in NA that really is a compact CUV/SUV, even the Vue is more of a small midsizer.
  24. Happy Birthday!
  25. The Enclave is full size, it's huge. An IS convertible fighter is where Cadillac should be at with the CTS or a smaller model eventually. (I can't see Buick having a $40-50k RWD luxury convertible).
