  1. I used to work with a guy that was such a cheapskate, he would never go to any restaurant where one would normally tip...so going out to lunch usually meant fast food. Said he didn't believe in tipping.
  2. Yeah, got 2 green toilets here..I keep 2 plungers beside each toilet for emergency unclog action, and Mr Plumbr Foaming Liquid Pipe Snake (a couple bottles of that work great for the worst clog). Well, not necessarily 4 every day...but when I eat large, I go large.. or when I eat spicy food, got to go more often..
  3. Not much to say about those little sh*tboxes. Boring FWD meh.
  4. Too much effort. Why would I go out to get something that can be delivered right to my door? Esp. in the summer when the weather outside is disgusting. One of the latest innovations I've seen is one of the chains has a deal w/ TiVo, where you can program in your favorite pizza, payment info, and local store so you can do one click ordering from the TiVo...I may try that.

  7. Don't recall Stardust...I do remember Guess? and Jordasche (sp?) being popular when I was in high school...
  8. Cool..I just recently picked up a 1:64th scale '55 Star Chief hardtop from M2.
  9. My Papa Johns does that also...but Pizza Hut doesn't... I've had a few of PH 'Naturals' or Wing Street wings delivered this year. Alas, I don't think any of local Chinese places deliver (but one about a mile away does deliver). Now if I had an Indian place that delivered that would rock--a curry vindaloo w/ naan and a Kingfisher, please. We ate pizza yesterday at Sauce, a pretty good chain here and in CO. Had a thin crust pepperoni and mushroom.
  10. Watching 'King Arthur' from '04 this evening..pretty good. Haven't seen it since it came out.
  11. Drunken posting instead of drunken dialing... had 1/2 bottle of Pinot Grigio with some steak & pork loin I grilled...lif e is good (had a few Harps before the vino...back in my 20s, I was notorious for drunken dialing...leaving 'Rob druk' fone messages for friends, ex-girlfriends, professors..even a buddy in Sweden a few timez.. Hot AZ sun ...sitting by pool and drinking away the afternooooon
  12. IIRC, in the '80s, it was IZOD Lacoste...one and the same..
  13. I test drove a 2dr Tahoe (and a Bronco) in 1996 when I was looking for a replacement for my Bronco II...ended up waiting until 2000 to upgrade to the Grand Cherokee..
  14. Interesting..don't think I've ever heard of a Yukon GT.
  15. When I was in jr high ('82-84) and high school ('84-88) they were very popular...parachute pants were popular then also. And Izod shirts w/ the little alligator.
  16. Auggh... back in the day, I had a brown Members Only jacket, wore it when rollin' in my 5.0.

  18. I think the dash is straight out of the Passat..
  19. Seemed to be videos of '60 Plymouths, '64 Plymouths, and '67 Fords..didn't notice '68 GM products.
  20. Tonight I saw two white Nissan Cubes on a lot, first I've seen of them, parked next to a gray 370Z. Saw a gray '10 Mustang GT in traffic...looking good.
  21. Yeah, another car I like a lot that has a similar vibe to the greenhouse is the Peugeot 607..I've seen a couple in Europe, they are pretty sleek.
  22. Speaking of Panteras, I recall 25+ years ago down in the Florida Keys seeing a rusty white Pantera and a faded orange Bricklin parked next to a house, the weeds growing up around them...
  23. It's a car that looks outstanding in the right color. I saw a black one w/ blacked out windows a couple months ago up close, and it's sharp. Speaking of sleek 4drs, I kind of wish Chrysler had some updated 3rd gen LHes these days..those cars can still look great, 10 years on, IMHO.
  24. No surprise Las Vegas is on the list...surprised Phoenix isn't on the list--disgusting climate, hideous tan desert sh*t.. I spent a lot of time in Cleveland when I was in college and grad school back in the '90s... lived in the Detroit area after that, but Ann Arbor is a world apart. Portland is one of the places I've been to a few times and kind of like, thought about moving there or Seattle, San Diego, Columbus, or Pittsburgh, besides Denver which is my Plan A.
