  1. Wow..that is clean. I still like the old full size Blazers, Jimmys, and Broncos...sometimes, I still think I should have bought the white 'OJ' '96 Bronco that I test drove back when it was new...
  2. As far as #4, this implies Alpha is on the far back burner: “What many of us would like to do (one day) is to do an all-new global rear-wheel drive architecture that would be considerably smaller, lighter and be capable of taking four-cylinder powertrains,” he said. “That, I think, could be globally shared. It’s not even in the plan at this point; it’s just what we tell ourselves in that there is going to have to be a next-generation Camaro, and there is going to have to be a next-generation Cadillac sedan, and so there is going to have to be a smaller and a way more efficient rear-wheel-drive architecture. “But at this point it is just a gleam in our eye.” (Alpha?) Sad... I guess to survive GM is going to focus on FWD generics for the mass market and forget about the good stuff, beyond what is already in the pipeline.
  3. heh-heh....the countries my ancestors came from either don't build cars or build cars made by companies they don't own.
  4. Or maybe it's for fast food..though will this limo be able to make the turn in the McDonalds drive thru?
  5. Doubt it..too many fixed pillars..
  6. I'm still surprised Bush didn't get an armoured HUMMER (with 'Don't Mess With Texas' and 'Exxon' bumper stickers) for his limo in '04, being the 'war president' and all...
  7. I'm still surprised Bush didn't get an armoured HUMMER for his limo in '04, being the 'war president' and all...
  8. I like the style of the wheel, but would prefer them in a dark titanium rather than chrome.
  9. Don't know how it is now, but in the early '80s I remember Myrtle Beach as a popular vacation place for E. Ohioans--just straight down I-77 and over.... my folks and I went down there a couple times before we bought the house in the Florida Keys. I remember quite a few neighbors and friends in elem. school talking about visiting MB. Went to Charleston once also as a kid, seemed like a really nice place.
  10. They look like something from 1985..I don't get it either, even the most basic 6 cyl Mustang has aluminum wheels.
  11. Yeah, but I don't have 400 hp. 20mpg with 400+ hp in a 4,000+ lb car is impressive.
  12. That looks great...20 isn't bad for the highway mileage, better than my 6 cyl Jeep.
  13. I guess that's the first time I've seen a pic w/o the Xenons..they look huge
  14. What's up with the headlights on the blue model? Does the base car have different headlights...
  15. Well, the trims are only varied (and not really 'greatly') within the Sierra and Yukon lines vs their Chevy equivalents. The Canyon, Savana and medium duty truck are just badge-engineered. The Arcadia is about the only unique model GMC has.
  16. Another thought--this could make an interesting Batmobile.
  17. That's a cool building...I have a colleague I used to work with in Colorado that's been with BofA in Charlotte since '00...I think he might have worked in that building.
  18. Interesting.. I guess the cost of the land was low enough at the time the lots were built that it was cheaper to build lots instead of garages. I don't see very much in the way of lots in Denver or Phoenix's CBDs---lots of parking garages.
  19. Way cool..I'm probably going Friday afternoon or Saturday.
  20. Plus, you had the G3 before we did, and your G5 is available in a 4dr!
  21. Heavier weight will make it ride better on the cratered roads of the Rust Belt.
  22. Yeah, I voted before the other stats were added... I'm closer to 40 than 30. There are 2 people in my income bracket according to the stats.
  23. That's hellcool....would make a good prop for a futuristic movie..
  24. Took the afternoon off to take care of some house repairs, on the way home saw a few interesting cars-- A very clean bright red '69 Mustang convertible w/ the top down a white mid '70s GMC SWB custom van, in very '70s style, with fender flares, red striping, bubble side windows, chrome side pipes, chrome wheels.... A tattered, battered late (flush headlights) white Cimmaron.. can't recall the last time I saw one
