  1. That means the 7-series and G8 are totally competitors then...
  2. MKS yes, but XTS is out of the ES price and options range.
  3. Happy birthday guys!
  4. The 1.4T in the Cruze puts out just 2 horsepower less than the 5.0 in my Toronado..... though my Toronado does make up for it in torque. I'd need to get a Cobalt SS engine to exceed the torque I have now.
  5. A high end, 2 seat roadster along the lines of the SL. None of the other Asian brands have something like that.
  6. I handled the snow in WV in my RWD CTS.... I'm a manly man...
  7. Well, you've got a few things wrong here. The 172 ft-lb is from the gas engine alone, the electric part rounds it up to 200 ft-lb total and it isn't a standard automatic. Toyota hybrid drive is a CVT, so no hunting at all.
  8. Funny how it is being rated behind a Buick....
  9. I can safely say that I would pick any Volvo over its Acura counterpart.
  10. Volvo has really managed to transform their line up lately, but it seems few have noticed.
  11. 200 ft/lbs total, running through a CVT in a soft 3,500+ car..... how much more numb can you get?
  12. Of course I'd go with the EB, but there is still something about the Adenauer Benz that speaks to me.
  13. It's only fair, the Mustang platform is a derivative of the Lincoln LS platform.
  14. Technically, GM could use the same engine the Jeep is getting. They own 50% of the company that built it.
  15. No. the caliber really wasn't a nice entry level car..
  16. Both sedans are excellently competitive in their markets. Wagon versions would be likewise.
  17. Hell, I can only get about 260 miles to a tank on the CR-V.
  18. BMW built its image on very expensive RWD Volkswagen Jettas without the reliability.
  19. By building a car good enough to sell over seas. With better product they can grow a little in the USA, but they need a global winner to get sales. Which is why they need a flagship car to be taken seriously over seas. You don't sell a flagship in volume. You sell 3-series and C-class size cars in volume... which is what Cadillac has in the ATS.
  20. Thr RWD one; the other one looked just like a restyled Pontiac concept... The FWD one was a restyled Pontiac concept..
  21. Because the development costs to sell either of these in the U.S. are as close to zero as you can get, I say bring them both over, each at different price points obviously.
  22. Plenty of people want electrics. No one wants to pay for them yet.
  23. The M3 made its mark with the I6. No reason not to use it.
  24. Build quality. Fuel economy. Engine options. Interior room.
  25. My review will cover the long haul trip in the Verano. I took it to DC and back.
