  1. Fine, make it an extended length Enclave. The Enclave Avenir is the modern interpretation of a Park Ave Ultra or Roadmaster Estate Limited anyway.
  2. You can't say that without knowing the vehicle it went on. Suppose Buick continued to move up market and did a CT6 sized car on Omega, overtop of Lacrosse, but made it PHEV or EV only. Wouldn't that make for a great Electra?
  3. Very sweet car! Significant upgrade over the 200. Make sure to add it to the Members Garage
  4. Black Label does well on Continental and the SUVS it is offered on... but the MKZ does so poorly (undeservedly so) that I would imagine the number of Black Labels sold is numerically quite small. A CPO MKZ is a luxury car steal, especially if you can find the Turbo V6 model.
  5. Sporty is the GS. So the Regal is the only one with both.
  6. What does thermal management really get them in terms of power or fuel economy though?
  7. I still haven't bought anything. The reality is that I am not around enough this summer to ride it, so I haven't been doing much shopping. I'm still on the Kawasaki Vulcan S, or BMW R9T, or Honda CB1100EX
  8. I'll have to try more of them. I'm not one to turn down the opportunity to try a bike.
  9. "Twins" are fine, it's when they're in a V that I don't seem to care for them (Disclaimer, I've yet to drive a Moto Guzzi, so not sure on that). They just feel too lumpy and unrefined even if they've got good power. I tried out an Indian Scout about a month ago. Ergonomically, it was a great bike, but I just didn't care for the lumpy engine. Now an inline twin like the Kawasaki I posted above or a flat twin like the BMW, those I like.
  10. I think I've come to the conclusion that I just don't like V-Twins.
  11. It looks so much smaller in this pic
  12. I made it up. But you got the idea of what I am trying to say while keeping it Toyota.
  13. Then the article was inaccurate when written.
  14. You took garage the wrong way. I'm thinking more like a taxi garage or a mid-size plumbing firm that maybe has 5 or 6 Sienna Commercial Vans. If you told the business owner that he/she could erase their fuel costs for the next 10 - 15 years with an upfront check of $10k (assuming the vehicle purchases would be a wash) that should be a fairly easy check to write.
  15. They stole my idea!!! I want to see one of the new GMCs with that scheme. IF I get a truck, I'd want to do a black stripe down the side like my dad's. @Intrepidation did this photoshop for me. That last bit was true until Congress removed more than a few of the safeguards back in the spring.
  16. Fuel cells make great sense for city dwellers, small delivery vehicles, taxis, and other livery. You can have a hydrogen generator in your garage and hydrogen can be generated from renewable sources, so its efficiency is less of a concern.
  17. No, but the Avenirs should be fluffy.
  18. It'll be a full size sports utility sedan ...,.............coupe
  19. For an EV... make it Range Cruiser
  20. Interesting idea. Well, as long as it helps keep the XJ in production. However, I do worry about the blending of the two brands. Some of the latest LR SUVs are pretty close to the new Jaguar SUVs in terms of look and feel.
  21. It's a shame that the death of the planet is now such old news that I don't even hear about stories like the wild fires until someone posts a car related thing on C&G
  22. The big auto shows are substantially different than the regional ones. I wouldn't be surprised if Cleveland is 1/4 the cost of Detroit. It's not the regional auto shows that he's complaining about... it's the big media shows like Detroit, LA, NYC, Frankfurt, etc.
  23. So a 4-cylinder Regal with electronically controlled shocks.
  24. You're making excuses. You're saying Toyota has a theme except when they don't have a theme. It's okay for Toyota but not for Buick? And for Buick the theme is "attainable luxury".
