  1. Hmmmm.......I could take that as some sort of innuendo.
  2. Funny story. I thought I saw a Deville yesterday, but it didn't look quite right, so I kept staring at it trying to figure out what looked "off" about it. Then I passed it and realized it was an STS. Thats how slow those t hings sell, I cant even identify one on the highway from 500 yards.

    Snow!!!

I know exactly how you feel. Yesterday it was 92 and sunny, today its only 65 and sunny.

    Shoes

Simple, really. I'm bored and want to know how many pairs of shoes, what are they and what are they for. I'll start. I've got some very generic Skechers boots, I wear them for work. I have an old orange pair of Reeboks that I wear biking and running. And I have four pairs of Chuck Taylors, a basic black pair that I wear to work on nights I close (they dont leave marks on the floor like my Skechers do) then I have a blue pair, a brown pair and a black and gold pair that I wear to class, out, etc. Wow, I own 6 pairs of shoes.
  5. I figured it was rice because of all the douchebags in Civics and Accords and V6 Camaros with clear taillights trying to race me.
  6. The Solara is a pony car?
  7. So reg, you're into DVDA?Please dont look it up, it may gross some people out.
  8. Granted I was thinking of 1968 when I made the riot reference, but going from #1 to #2 in murder rate isn't really anything to brag about. "We're not the murder capital of the world anymore!" isn't really a great slogan to bring in tourists. So who has what in his ass? The person who has been to Detroit and has seen the statistics or the guy from Detroit who appears blind to the facts and defends a city that is, statistically speaking, unsafe?
  9. Those $199/month deals are on very base cars for people with great credit. If their credit is anything less than perfect those lease payments go up, not to mention the usual large sum of money due at signing.
  10. To paraphrase Jimmy Kimmel, They're going to burn the city of Detroit down if the Pistons or Redwings win...that is assuming there are still people in Detroit who aren't in jail and who are gainfully employed to the point where they can afford combustible liquids. This link should be helpful to anyone going to hockeytown anytime soon.
  11. Didn't all GM cars have ABS standard in the mid-90's?

    ....

I think the Wrangler, FJ and H3 will all be fighting for sales. The Wrangler will get the most, and its probably the best of the bunch. The H3 will get the least because it is going to be the worst in most on-road categories.
  13. Other than the FJ Cruiser, most Toyotas are on sale within weeks of intro, I saw my first Camry on a lot less than a month after the official unveiling. Honda has gotten into GM mode lately, that is they release the "concept" version a year or so before the production version. I think thats retarded, it gives people no reason to buy the current model if the next one will be out in 18 months and will likely be a better vehicle, and it gives the competition a clue as to what direction you're taking the vehicle and may give them time to counter.
  14. I was there, thats actually how it happened.
  15. I like the headlights and the rims, but I still prefer the huge chunks of plastic. Looks weird without them. I bet it still gets $h!ty mileage.
  16. With the M-Class/RX330 ripoff styling that came out before the Torrent or the engine that blows the Torrent's away in numbers? It looks exactly like the current one, I was expecting more.
  17. $5 says the Texas State Fair.
  18. I saw a Plymouth Prowler last night and a sweet black Volvo P1800 wagon this morning.
  19. Note to Mercedes--Taking a design from 1996 is NOT going retro.
  20. We should boycott gas companies one day, nobody go buy any gas, that'll show 'em. My advice, either do something about it, like maybe driving less, getting out of the gas guzzler, etc. or quit bitching.
  21. After class tomorrow, I'll drive around campus and do a count, then maybe another campus and the downtown parking garage. Get a little more midwest info in here, although I can saefly say it'll be somewhere around a 60/40 Domestic/import mix with most(>50%) of those domestics being either newer (95+) SUVs and older (pre-94) cars.

    Vacations

I've heard nothing but bad things about San Antonio from a guy I work with who used to live there. Its probably just because all the stuff there is great for tourists but unloved by the locals.
