  1. There were 26 days (Monday thru Saturday) on which they could sell cars this year, there were 27 last year. All companies do it.
  2. I saw a Baja today, wonder if that was the one they sold last month.
  3. Hmmmm....I may have to rent a car next weekend, maybe I'll see if I can get one.
  4. Entourage? That things actually on sale?
  5. Whats up with the drop in hybrid sales? I remember the thread about Honda cutting back Accord hybrid production, but I didnt think sales would be that low.
  6. I've gotten a free ride or two from a police officer's daughter.
  7. The RSX is much better as a daily driver than the SRT-4. If you want to argue, you're going to lose. Just go for a drive. Drive the rough, loud, cheap, cramped one then drive the Honda. You'll see where I am coming from.
  8. Because there is more to a car than just how fast it can go 0-60 and in the quarter mile. Go drive an SRT-4 and Caliber in normal driving (city and highway) then go drive an RSX. You'll see the difference.
  9. Do it! I'd like to see anyone take a spin in a ZR1 and then bash DOHC.In case you couldn't tell, I have a soft spot for the C4, I've toyed with the idea of breaking the bank and picking up a high miled, beat to hell, early C4 because they're so cheap. 210hp? Who cares, clean it up, give it a nice wax job, and cruise, its a f@#king Corvette.
  10. The problem with the RSX is the weak standard engine. The 197hp Civic Si starts at the same price as the 155hp RSX, it takes another $3k to get into a 200hp Type-S. That said, they need to replace it with another sporty small coupe/sedan lineup like the Integra had. Something small and sporty, but more refined than the Civic for people who want to step up, but not in size.
  11. My money is on this being complete BS, but frankly if its true, it'll be AWESOME! Linky
  12. Duh reg, 65,000 coupes make loads more money than 350,000 sedans. Didn't you read the instructions that came with the Camaro Kool-Aid? Enthusiasts do NOT make the majority of new car purchases, its housewives andmiddle-class working dads who gave Toyota all that money they have that allows them to sell the Prius at a loss and develop all sorts of cool technology that may need some bugs worked out, but its on the showroom floor.
  13. I saw a Suburban the other day, it looked good except for one thing that bothered me. On the tailgate, the letters in "Suburban" were spaced, like "S u b u r b a n" and it bugged the hell out of me.
  14. $59.99 for 550 minutes. You're kidding, right? Do people actually buy that plan?
  15. Linky
  16. I'm not saying stayt away from a BMW, I'm saying stay away from a 10 year old BMW, especially a model thats not known for reliability, with a ton of miles on it.
  17. C4 ZR1? Or a late 80's C4 vert to get you through the long, hard summer and an '07 Avalanche to do everything else.
  18. Actually, I'd tell you to run away from another GA as fast as you can.
  19. Other than those quibbles I think the G6 is going to do exceptionally well in the market. The hardtop will probably win over a lot of buyers, especially Sebring buyers. My gut says it'll be outclassed by the next Solara vert, but for now its the best sedan based convertible on the market.
  20. The spoiler on the vert has to be changed. Ugly. Same with the wood inside, it just doesn't work with all the chrome, and I like the chrome.
  21. We're going to be in this thread saying "told you so" in a few months. $5k for a historically unreliable car with 139k and change on the odometer is a horrible idea, especially for a jobless 16 year old. Sorry BV, thats just the most likely scenario.
  22. 107 thousand and some change on my '00 Solara.
  23. Woooooo! Another Delta. Excuse me if I'm not jumping for joy.
  24. I'm sure Ford based the Navigator decision on more than just some bitching on C&G. Sure, maybe someone read our site, and dozens of others and was keeping rack of responses at the auto show and then thought that they may need to tweak it a bit, but it wasn't all C&G. Anyone in a position of power who takes the advice of a couple hundred enthusiasts on a single website should be fired. Horrible business practice.
  25. The intelligence we had at the time said that Iraq had weapons of mass......
