Because no one else has started teh thread yet (unless I missed it).

I'll kick things off with:

  • `72 Chevelle, yellow, perfectly restored
  • `71 or so GTO, blue, for sale
  • `71 (I think) Cutlass for sale, 12k
  • 50's Ford pickup sitting in someone's back/side yard...been there a long time it looks like
and on a modern note
  • black Charger SRT-8
  • red Grand Cherokee SRT-8
  • several Edges (they are all over the place)
  • white Avenger SE (first base model I have seen)
  • silver Sebring
  • red Aura XR
  • red Serra 1500 crew cab
  • black Silverado 1500 extended cab

An Enclave in "auto show color" (Mocha?). Looked good, though I like the silver and red ones I've seen better, I think.

Late 70's Pontiac Sunbird in pea green with tan landau top and rally wheels... in pristine condition. Nice survivor.

Eight Miatas in a row drove past me going the other way today.

Also saw what was probably a Chevelle.

And there are some Solstices in town. 8)

Went to a car show today. Among the more notable entries: Chrysler TC and a 1969 Yenko S/C Camaro with 29.3 original miles. Holy hell was it beautiful.

Interesting... I haven't seen any "memorable" cars lately, except for the Ferraris/Maseratis on display near at the Lisbon Ritz galleries (there's a black Dodge Viper on display there as well)...

Sky Redline (my first Sky), Buick Enclave (my first, but didn't get a chance to look at it), and a Nova... with what looked to be 15"+ wide rear tires. Crazy.

I saw something that strongly resembled a corpse wrapped in a burlap bag on the Beltway this afternoon. :yikes:

Other less morbid sightings:

dark blue '08 Taurus Limited (not bad)

new Amanti in silver

my dream S2000, New Formula Red with the 10-spoke rims

an unknown Ferrari driving through one of the lower-rent parts of Metro DC

topped off by a new Silverado 2500HD 4x4 LTZ crew cab with the Duramax/Allison combo in Stealth Grey (or whatever Chevy's equivalent to that is). It positively towered over everything else on the road.
