Oh, The Heat!

Recommended Posts

My Milly's ambient temperature display maxed out today.

Okay.... so it only goes up to 99 degrees in Fahrenheit. :P

But yeah... It's been so hot, especially today. It still hot out and its 1:30 in the morning. I'm roasting in my 80 degree room. My fan is useless as it just brings in more hot air. I need air conditioning. Either that or a large refrigerator to sleep in.

God, where is my mind. I thought you said "it's 20 degrees and mildly cloudy in my pants."

Vipes... a clue: it's summer. :AH-HA_wink:

Between two ceiling fans and a window unit, my upstairs stays comfortable. I turn on the a/c when I come home for lunch, and turn it off when I get up in the a.m. Luckily, downstairs stays cool all summer because it's partially underground.

i am kinda wondering where those temp sensors are on vehicles...?

unless it's high 90's and humid, which it will get to here, i almost never use the a/c in my car.

vipes-- as long as it's not 99C ... then i'd be worried.

 Exactly.

No, the inner mounting thingy cracked and broke off. Would you believe these things aren't interchangable between model years? '95s have an inner metal retention ring and '97s have holes too large.

That's nuts. Hey Fly, I saw an Aurora at the junkyard yesterday, I shoulda checked the year and grabbed the dials to throw in the LeSabre :P

Did a Corolla driver hit your vehicle from inside?

It happened on my Ninety Eight. Go to http://www.rockauto.com and get the part there. I got mine and have been fine since. with the original, the plastic broke off on the inside.

You can get a GE air conditioner for 90 bucks at Wal Mart.

So I misread the initial post, and when I read this, an image of BV's millennia with a window unit attached to the passenger side door just popped into my head.
