  1. I don't know what's going on over at Chevy but everything they've released looks worse than what they have out right now. The Malibu and Cruze less so but the Silverado and Camaro look so much worse. What the hell, Chevy?!? I'm almost always in favor of the newest versions of things but these Chevys aren't doing it for me.

  2. Chevrolet has revealed the two extremes of the Silverado family, the 1500 and the Class 4, 5, and 6 trucks. But the HD variant has yet to make its debut. Today, Chevrolet dropped a teaser for the upcoming 2020 Silverado HD. This would be ok if it was a couple of months out from being shown, but Chevrolet isn't planning to show until late 2019. That's right, we have an 18-month wait. The photo shows the top half of the Silverado HD's front end and it looks tough. We can see the headlights being similar in shape to the 1500 and the Chevrolet script running the whole length of the grille. We're expecting a number of grille inserts depending on the trim. A chrome-ringed hood scoop provides extra cooling for the engine - possibly a diesel engine. It will be the third all-new truck in the Silverado lineup revealed in just 18 months, joining the 2019 Silverado 1500 and the 2019 Silverado 4500/5500/6500HD. “Chevrolet already fuels the most successful truck manufacturer in the industry,” said Alan Batey, global head of Chevrolet. “With a completely new, expanded range of Silverado models on the horizon, we expect to see even more truck buyers in Chevrolet showrooms.” The next-generation Silverado HD is designed for the specific priorities and needs of heavy-duty truck customers. On-road testing of the new Silverado HD prototypes will begin in the near future to reach Chevrolet’s increased durability and validation standards, and the bolder, larger proportions of the truck will be instantly apparent. More product information will be provided next year, with the first production models scheduled to roll off the assembly lines in Flint, Michigan, in the third quarter of 2019.

  3. Agree, in today's 21st century world, I like your term: "Fuel System Refill Access Panel"

  4. 7 speed manual please. Otherwise, at that price point it is better to kiss the cousin and buy a Charger Hellcat.

  5. I just saw they chose to go with "5" and "7". Is there any vision left in the auto industry?

  6. In car terminology, i think of a cap as a rounded threaded thingy like an oil filler cap, gas cap, tire valve stem cap, etc. While a door is a hinged panel. Maybe 'fuel system refill access panel' would a better description...

  7. And 3 brand identities... Jaguar, Land Rover, Range Rover...

  8. Our Malibu and Pacifica now. U just push the fuel filler cap down and it unclicks to open up. Lots of cars have capless fuller now also. When done filling you just click it closed. No cap lock as far as I know.

  9. 10 SUVs in one dealership sounds like a TON of cannibalization.

  10. I guess Giulia is living up to a reputation established 45 years ago: Fix It Again Tony.

  11. Clearly not, even from that one photo. Maybe on the same platform, though..

  13. The Focus should be interesting (where ever they build it), but I am very curious about the next charger as well...

  14. Well wait; why does Jaguar get "fairness" while being decades late to the party, when all Cadillac gets is 'they should have 5 or 7 SUVs?? Hell, Porsche beat Jaguar to the SUV trend, and it may be the most traditionally 'sports car' line out there.

  15. I love the new SS Camaro. I like the new LT/RS Camaro.

  16. ^^^ Lots of people try to make it sound like the Camaro styling is the problem..... the bigger problem is still that it's a bunker with no space and you can't see out of it.

  17. Just like the frequent case critique of Cadillac, "this is too late, should've been out 5 or 7 years ago". I mean, right?

  18. Well, to be honest. I have never heard him say that he does NOT love you. So...yeah!
