  1. My dad had colon cancer so at recommendation of his doctors I started doing colonoscopy at 40. The worst part as was mentioned is the preparation, and bloating after the procedure, try to schedule the procedure when you are off from work before and after. Otherwise it is not a big deal.

  2. It makes the CUV sound a lot more distinguished and upscale. Very exciting times for Lincoln.

  3. Overland package is more $$$. That's the reason I started looking at this. I get the off-road suspension and 4x4, plus the tow package, plus heated and cooled seats (albert's request), for less money than the same config in an overland.

  4. A go-anywhere JGC is always cool. I like the color combination as well.

  5. What do y'all think of the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk? Cool ride or posermobile?

  6. They didn't (in the US) other than this : IF GM had produced these, I'd SO own one right now!

  7. I like the Trailhawk. Though for the Grand Cherokee, I would get some Mopar accessories to have body colour grille, mirror caps, a slightly lighter finish on the wheels, and perhaps regular finish tow hooks too. I would get back to chrome window trim, and remove the hood decal. I would keep the "Trailhawk" branding in a very stealth way, like a black sticker decal that you attach to near the black surround of window pillars. For the GC I kinda would want a 'sleeper' Trailhawk look, where the upgrades are masked so it doesn't actually look like you got the Trail hawk. Why? Because I think that like having a sleeper sedan - no one expects your normal looking GC to handle the rough stuff that requires Trailhawk level of equipment, and then...... BAM!!!! SHOW'EM WHOS DA REAL EL GRANDE CHEROKEEE!

  8. Yeah if i lived somewhere different and used the extra goodies, I would definitely want that. ORRRRR I'd still want the more "road-ready" JGC and try and invest in a Wrangler as a toy anyway... ??‍♂️

  9. Overall, this looks fantastic. Very interested on how the Polestar T8 will be considering for now you can only get it by Care by Volvo.

  10. I can respect that, yet as one that does go off road, I would take the Trailhawk over the Overland.

  11. I think it's more cool than poser. I mean it really can do some off road stuff, right? I think the Renegade Trailhawk is poser but not the JGC.

  12. Well you know they’ve been saying for a long time that Americans need to consume far less goods and services and save more. Most likely you’ll see Walmart just substituting suppliers from lesser-tarriffed countries. It’s pretty obvious, American standards of living have to be reduced to invest in the future. Probably means less conspicuous consumerism. More saving. More debt repayment. Less cars, less phones, less discretionary spending, hell, even a smaller military. Cut it the discretionary and spend only on the mandatory. And get rid of government programs that produce deadweight losses. Which effectively means dismantling the government’s worst parts and doubling down on infrastructure, education and healthcare. Which won’t happen

  13. You keep moving those goalposts, that's what you're good at. Two posts ago I suggested they use the new 2.7 liter, so it would be below the 3.0 gas tax level. Your suggestion was that they use the 2.0T. I'm sure your very next complaint was that a Chinese Escalade only had a 2.0T while the GLS has a 2.998 liter.

  14. It's a much larger vehicle so it has a chance to sell at a premium over a GLS.

  15. I would not bet on that. Cadillac is picking up steam and doing better than many would think in China. Latest info on Cadillac in China:

  16. This weeks issue of Mad Money with Cramer has a valid question: Will China put tariffs on their largest employer and one of their largest production product lines APPLE? It is an interesting Trillion dollar question. https://www.cnbc.com/2018/06/19/cramer-the-trillion-dollar-question-on-us-china-trade-is-about-apple.html So according to this site that I follow: https://www.globalpetrolprices.com/China/gasoline_prices/ Chinese are paying 7.57 yuan per liter for gas on average. That equals to 1.17 US as of today's currency exchange. At 3.785 liters per gallon that equals = $4.42 per gallon which as you say is on par with a higher gas cost than here. I do wonder how this will play out in the auto industry. I honestly do not see a reduction as they seem to be in the golden age of auto's compared to the US.

  17. Not that; talk about unfair import tariffs / company partnering in the Chinese market. That's years and years and years ongoing. Chinese import tariffs were (until minutes ago) 25%; the same rate being characterized as a "trade war" from the US side of the issue.

  18. The previous owner of my company had 650 Spider which he occasionally brought in, among a number of others like 911, Lambo, MB AMG and few more. The cars like this McLaren or Ferraris, Lambos are amazing and drool worthy, it is just too bad they out of reach to 99.9% of people.

  19. I want a Cadillac about 10 inches longer and 3 inches wider than the Ct6. Whether the next gen CT6 grows in size, or a 'CT8' appears, I'd like to see a range topper noticeably larger. As for pricing, overlap already occurs everywhere. Doesn't the E63 overlap the S550 by 10 or 15 grand?

  21. I've had it done. nothing to be afraid of. you're knocked out the whole time. It is largely due to the American diet. They don't follow this recommendation in countries that have better balanced diets.

  22. When it comes to any American car marque, Sergio DGAF. FCA should ideally be broken up and out of Sergio's hands.

  23. For the most part. He does buy some super exclusive/ultra high end cars that he keeps. For instance, he has an older (05-06) Ford GT, an 05 Porsche Carrera GT, an older SL65 AMG Black Series, a Porshce 918, an 08 Veyron, and a new Chiron.

  24. Ah, yes, how silly of me. That just added to the suspense though, right? ? As the picture shows, it was a 570S. With Track Pkg, ultra lightweight forged wheels, and a bunch of other pricey options. MSRP new as 212K. Thanks! I try to put a little effort into them. Just all dependent on the car, I guess. ?
