  1. Happy Belated B Day. Hope you got what you wanted.
  2. It looks like something I would expect to see on Speed Racer and have machine guns pop out of.
  3. Very true and if someone actually had a mini truck like the Chevy Luv, they could clean up in a small pickup truck with a diesel and high gas mileage able to carry 1000lbs. Perfect for home do it yourself projects.
  4. Interesting, never heard of this car before and it does look like a kit car but very cool. Cheers as it would be fun to drive.
  5. I think even the French gov is going to have a hard time not accepting cuts. It is either cut plants and jobs of the over capacity or a total loss. They will be forced to make some hard decisions and Europe will burn.
  6. Very Cool, but is it not lighter than the camero? I would expect it to be faster since it has a bed rather than a back seat.
  7. That would make sense especially if they are going to build a Barracuda with a new SuperCharged Hemi + 8speed tranny. That would rock in the pony car wars.
  8. Weird that from Autoweek to Autoblog to dodge forums all talk about the challenger going to the LA platform so it can get the 8 speed transmission and yet no one seems to say why it has to change to get the tranny. Is it an issue with the fire wall? An issue with the body design? I am interested also as to why it cannot use the 8 speed on the current platform?
  9. Agree, unlike the rest of SAAB which is expensive to fix, the 9-7x is about 95% GM based easy parts to get I would go with any of the 9-7x awd models.
  10. This is a good read, UPS also is buying all CNG trucks next year over traditional petrol or diesel trucks. UPS to buy more Natural Gas Trucks to add to their existing 700 CNG trucks. http://www.bendbulletin.com/article/20130627/NEWS0107/306270329/ AT&T to Ryder driven to go Natural Gas as Oil continues to rise. http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2013-04-29/at-t-to-ryder-driven-toward-natural-gas-vehicles-as-oil-soars.html Over all the industry expects 19% growth in Natural Gas Auto sales through 2020. Good time to be in Natural Gas. We should move this thread to the Alternative Fuel forum rather than the Lounge.
  11. Hyper, I hope you in-laws will go and look at the XTS. While I know many happy DTS owners here in Seattle, I have also run into many who want American luxury but are put off by the poor quality of the older generation cars. I am hoping the XTS will rebuild the faithful in Cadillac as a stepping stone to greater things to come.
  12. Happy B Day to you!
  13. For the price that is a sweet ride. From my understanding, the air suspension was standard on the Aero but optional on everything else. I do like the two tone, very nice.
  14. This only makes sense that they would come up with something else. Course it is still a limited small market, but then MB has the stigma to pull it off and offer a Maybach size and style S series or as they say Pullman version. Be interesting to see what it is.
  15. Backup Camera is useful for SUV's and Trucks pulling a trailer as it does help ease the connection but otherwise making this a rule of must have is just stupid. If parents cannot manage their kids and teach them to not play behind a vehicle and the parent cannot check the vehicle to make sure no one is behind them when they back up then they have no one to blame but themselves. The GOV should not be having to think for you and protect yourself from your own lack of common sense and accountability.
  16. I would have to disagree with you as the Juke is an ugly duckling that the right person loves but the bulk do not. The RAV4 always was a bland child that seemed to sell in large amounts to people wanting a conservative bland ride.
  17. Trailblazer SS and the Saab 6.0 both have the air suspension. Makes for an amazing ride. Course City driving, my SS averages about 12.5 to 13 mpg but on the highway cruzing, I have gotten 23-24 on trips. Course the power is addicting and I can say my SS does just fine at 130+ The only TB I would consider is the SS as it is the same as what was put into the 9-7x, very nice.
  18. Thanks Drew, that makes sense considering I was looking at an old topic with lots of pictures. I am surprised that their storage would not have bigger cache controllers as you can make HD storage almost as quick as SSD by using a controller with 128GB or 256GB cache on the controller. I appreciate all you do as the site has been amazing under your stewardship. Thank you,
  19. Interesting that I found 243 listing for the 9-7x auto when I polled the whole US yet with in a 500 mile range of Seattle WA there is only 4 that are available. Guess SAAB really was not that popular in the NW. Amazing the price for these low mile models.
  20. Cookie Monster
  21. How old before topics/posts are moved to the HD from the SSD? I clearly see a delay when I go in to pull up things a month or more older. Before everything seemed sluggish but now current topics that are being posted too seem to snap and older topics clearly are sluggish.
  22. Yes I had also Read that Chevy was going to do Niche models for regions. I hope they focus more on a NW Package, Southern Package, NE package, etc. Regional not brand specific as I think they are pretty limited for the most part.
  23. Great write up and comparison is understandable for those that have read the other two reviews. This is a solid little CUV that like Drew says, needs a little Rehab to take the stage again.
  24. Agree with the updated design language need. They could go for a far more radical futuristic look but I doubt the Swedish mental could handle it.
  25. So far there does seem to be a bit more snappiness to the site, images upload faster, posts faster, have not spent any time in the galleries. Looking forward to Monday.
