  1. Maybe it's the VOLUME brand and they have to pay for the R&D so that they can offer these GREAT engines!
  2. I'd see things like that back in the 70's and always wanted one but the 652dr Chevelle wagons
  3. I' like to see what Holden brought to the table It'd be nice to see that they were healthy also
  4. I just hope the economy doesn't drop the other shoe
  5. I really hadn't thought about that before. Ford had an almost Sloan like hierarchy there. Ford - Chevy Mercury - Oldsmobile Mazda - Saturn (the domestically owned car company that made people think they were driving foreign) Lincoln - Buick (big, floaty, old) Volvo - Saab (for the quirks of course) Land Rover - Hummer (not a direct comparison, but premium SUVs none the less) Jaguar - Cadillac (meant to be the king of the hill) I've always thought that, the Big Three were all like that GM = Isuzu/Opel/Lotus/Holden/Vuxhaul & Saab Ford = Mazda/Ford Germany/Jaguar/Ford AU/NA/Volvo Chrysler = Mitsubishi/Simca/Roots/Chrysler AU/PSA/ Hooked up with MB

  11. Well I think we just found the first person who associates a positive connotation to "Skyhawk" instead of getting heart palpations thinking about that horrid J-Car. Well from MY 75-80 they were built on H Bodys and looked like this So yeah I'm in favor of it also. Though I wouldn't be put off on a non heritage name I DON'T like Verano. Buick has so few heritage names that are relevant anymore that they should build on future name recognition. As to those horrid J Bodys how many here were old enough to drive one when they bowed in 82 they weren't horrid pretty decent back then just left to wither a little teething problems but remarkably reliable and cheap to own fun to drive with a 2.8-3.1L v6 and a soft top early I4 turbos were fun also.

  23. Yes, it's a standardization thing...can use the same mechanism across multiple models, and it simplifies LHD or RHD usage.. As opposed to being on the doors

  25. I like the model logo's (badges) & the entire line should get them back again Imp., 'bu, vette, Camaro, hopefully el Camino and Caprice/Belair too. exhaust On the topic the direct injected engine sounds good IDK if the integrated exhaust will save money that may just be a wash with labor cost, should flow well though. Glad to see them painting the damn ON* antenna, Bout time! Nice touch on the leather wrapped wheel stitching. I give you 1 month from release b4 those 45 emblems are on a DONK
