  1. They've had the same transmission with issues since 2012. They should have made a more drastic fix to it. I definitely get the shutter but the warranty has been extended on the transmission to 100k because they know they built a POS.
  2. Cadillac EV halo? It looks more like a mid-engined sports car by having a retractable top. I guess you wouldn't have a button on the fob to open the engine bay though.
  3. The exterior is not very attractive to me. The inside looks really nice but if it were mine, I'd like a darker wood for the kitchen. Pretty much everything else looks really awesome though.
  4. I still see white ones in recently remodeled and a couple friends of mine have either bought a home or painted theirs white. I'm a fan of a dark stain when it comes to wood. Don't paint wood.
  5. I think white kitchens will age very poorly. It's a HUUUUGE fad right now but I don't think they will look good in 10-20 years.
  6. I'm a huge fan of that look. That or silver with black trim/wheels.
  7. Oh definitely, the GMC looks way better all around but there's one body configuration that looks pretty good in Silverado clothes.
  8. It's weird because if somebody described that grille to me, I would think it would look great but it looks bad. Something about it looks super cheap and crappy. I think it needs painted black and not plastic black.
  9. This looks good to me. This looks bad to me. The partial chrome/body color is, as expected from me, "Okay". It is a nice blend for those who still like chrome but they don't want an overwhelming and tacky looking amount. It's amazing how such small changes can make me like or dislike something. I mean it's the same vehicle with all the same lines and curves but when they're colored wrong, they make the whole thing look bad.
  10. The 2019 Ram looks the best to me as well. I'm not a huge fan of the 2018 refresh of the Ford. Something about the grille just doesn't mesh as well for me. I like the more-blocky 2015-2017's. The 2019 Silverado only looks good with the body colored grille. The chrome looks really sh!tty to me.
  11. Passenger volume per Cad and Driver Model 3: 95 cubic ft. Volt: 90 cubic ft.
  12. There's more to interior room than just legroom. Look at the total interior volume for the two.
  13. Or is that a "lack" of supply? I'm not saying that's a bad thing but they work hand in hand.
  14. Yeah, they've all done it before.. I think the F150 has done it a couple of times as well. I think the first was 03 or 04..? and then again with the next gen..?
  15. It actually isn't the deep grooves that give traction but the temperature thing is accurate. Here's a short video that gives a little idea of how a winter tire can get better bite or grip on snow. In short, added sipes and flexibility. You can skip ahead to about 20 seconds. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zLMwF5WR-us
  16. This is definitely one of my favorites. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HVlfclOpsK8&list=PLCFM1h5Oz66h1hHSXoO5-6pziQfi4cOpu Just like Jeep can't...
  17. I would have thought with you being a Mercedes guy that you'd know it is "G Wagen".
  18. To the best of my knowledge, knobby tires aren't really that good in snow. They're designed for off-road traction(mud, dirt, climbing) and not snow traction, which is very different. https://simpletire.com/blog/view/how-do-mud-tires-perform-in-snow
  19. No, I know what it's like but you have a 3rd vehicle. Tell her she can get some jewelry with the gas savings and also get rid of the eye sore in the garage/driveway/yard.
  20. Why does she care what you drive as long as you have other larger vehicles to drive when she's with you?
  21. No but you'll criticize somebody for their "dated" mindset if they aren't on board with EVs. And this is what makes it ironic. Well, the biggest supporter doesn't have one yet so I'm not sure why you believe that.
  22. It's easy to be the fastest growing when you were one of the weakest to begin with.
  23. Damn, rough numbers here as well. 4 out of 13 vehicles up + vans.
