Mercedes vans was the fastest SINKING brand- they conceeded HUGE majority percentages of the segment to the competition from nissan, Ford, Chevrolet, RAM, etc. The rest of the market simply passed them right by and they are lingering in the cellar.

M-B vans are up 16% year to date over last year, and up 71% in Oct 18 compared to Oct 17.

MARKET SHARE. They owned the Euro van market in the USDM outright but have conceded the majority to their competition since they've come online.

I like this commercial especially, but Ford cannot afford to be a BOF Truck/SUV firm only.  Mustang aside, Ford needs more and better products in the unibody side of things.

Just like Jeep can't...

I would upvote this by at least a thousand if I could.  If Ford can keep up the corporate attitude I see in these videos and focus on what they do well they will win me back.

In any relationship the key is to define what will make you happy if you are unhappy. In the case of Ford...build what you are passionate about.

Jeep analogy is very well placed. I could see myself loving a Ford motor company that was passionate about Trucks...Mustangs...and SUVs...maybe Edge and one other.

If they can stop trying to be all things to all people...they will win me back.

Love...love...and love the new videos by Ford!

I disagree. Trying to be everything to everybody is what has held them back IMHO. I really like the idea of a strong lean and Focused (pun not intended) Ford motor company.
