This is taking some serious thinking as that 34k spot is a lot for a used vehicle.
-
Ahhhh I just find it a little ironic that one would rip Tesla and all of the EVs for being junk yet... they purchased a FIAT owned vehicle.. FIAT!!
-
I know, real exciting price range, right?!? Well, it came up in the Kia thread and it got me thinking what would I buy for 27k and 34k(because that's a very realistic price range for my next vehicle)? First I thought new then used.. Simple rules.. 4 total vehicles Two 27k vehicles New Used Two 34k vehicles New Used

Nissan News: Nissan's Titan Could Be Going On A Global Tour
ccap41 replied to William Maley's topic in Nissan
Do you think Ford, GM, and Ram didn't consider this years ago and probably do market research every couple of years to see if there is demand for them? It's hard to believe they don't continually consider this as they make so much off of them. Yeah, they might sell, but maybe not well enough to justify all of the hassle and approvals to sell them there. But no, if the mid-sizers are as capable as they are right now there't not enough benefit to selling the big guys over there. Look at what's on most of their roads now, smaller vehicles. Do you think they just all of a sudden want huge-ass trucks the size of their roads? Maybe after the Titan goes there it will spark a bigger interest and they'll sell but to sell in China it seems like they'll need some form of hybrid system within a few years.- 9 replies

*hates Tesla* *Buys FIAT stuff* (Not to you Drew but quoted because..easy..) We shouldn't be surprised that a Fiat owned/operated site isn't helpful.

Nissan News: Nissan's Titan Could Be Going On A Global Tour
ccap41 replied to William Maley's topic in Nissan
Especially with the capabilities of a modern mid-sizer. I mean the diesel Colorado can tow 7600lbs and 1550 in the bed(or something similar if I remembered incorrectly). That is full size numbers from only 15 years ago. So they're plenty capable. Heck, they're even similar sizes to the half tons 15 years ago as well.- 9 replies

Switch that out with Italian compact/import and you have the Compass lol So they offer a CVT piece of $h! in the base trim, FWD only, then the 9spd in the rest of the lineup, and lastly, the 6 spd manual? Why the F does this need 3 transmissions?

I don't mind #1 at all. Sounds like it benefits both parties. I'm only on the desktop version at work so ads are whatever to me. Honestly, do what you need to do here. As long as I don't get pop-ups, we're good!

That isn't very accurate... They also form a lot of BS.

Oh definitely... Then they'd price it too high for the hatcback market anyway.. But I'd freakin love an M version of a hot hatch(or an AMG). I'd prefer rear or all wheel drive but even if they made it front wheel drive, I feel like M and AMG cars aren't half-assed and it would still be a great FWD car. A45. I want an A45.

That's all i want from BMW... a hatch and then an M version of said hatch.

X1 is a GLA competitor and X3 is a GLC competitor.
-
No clue about the latter but I know MB, Audi and Land Rover have been using a similar setup for awhile as well. Not sure when they started but I'd guess it was around that 2012 date as well. Ever use one? They're weird as hell. I'm not much of a fan of them.
-
Funny thing about this is.... If they lowered it a couple more inches and called it a hatchback I would be in love. It would immediately compete(and probably beat) the GTI and ST.
-
BMW has had this shifter for about 10 years now. I think it debuted in 2008(on the 7 Series) and has been on everything else in their lineups ever since. Can you dislocate joints?

Smaller then an X1???? Good lord this has to be tiny. At 5'8" I can look over the top of an X1 already.

That's freakin' awesome! One hell of a security system.

More Teslas are drag racing than I would have expected, that's for sure. Luckily, a 1/4 mile drag race is still only a 1/4 mile. And the % of drivers taking anything they own to a track is...? out of the hundred thousand mustangs and camaros sold this year how many do you think found a drag strip? Yeah, probably more than 1% but what about C63's and M4's? Id say only 1% of those make a track appearance as well.
-
I’d usually agree but there are an awful lot of Tesla drag racing videos out there.

Yeah, I hate the increased blind spots.. My Escape was pretty bad with that. Yeah, there was a window back there but I couldn't see crap looking out of the at the angle of the driver's seat.

Porsche News: 2018 Porsche 718 Boxster and Cayman GTS Add More Power
ccap41 replied to William Maley's topic in Porsche
I always find this odd.. Why can't they produce both transmissions that are capable of 317 lb-ft? I remember the RX-8 had a similar situation where the auto had much less power(and/or TQ) than the 6spd.- 7 replies
