One of my best friends just bought a 2015 Fiesta ST. I'm pretty freakin stoked to get to drive it!

If I'm not mistaken the e-Golf is the same way. I tried to shop around for one just for the heck of it to see prices and they are nowhere near me.

Just different approaches.. especially concerning size. I mean one could make the same assessment coming out of a 535 and getting into a 335i. Also.. in terms of fuel economy.. as far as I kno.. the Cruze will be stopping at 30/35/42, while the Malibu does have a hybrid pulling in 47/46/46 and a 0-60 time in the exact same numbers as the Cruze, while being a larger car. Aren't we supposed to see a diesel Cruze yet? That thing will eat up that 47/46/46 of the hybrid Malibu. The ratings may not be there but diesels are known to easily out due their ratings anyway.

Make excuses all you want but there is simply no excuse for pleather in a $50k+ Benz. No excuse. If this were offered by Cadillac, you would have a field day talking about GM bean counters and them being cheap. 110% Correct.

I guess I just assumed it was just every 2016 off the line was build with the additional reinforcements and 2015s weren't fixed or anything because they still passed the tests, just not with flying colors lol.

Have you seen it in person yet? The size and presence of it in person definitely outdue the pics because I don't think it looks like anything special in pictures either.

Even the Koreans? Aren't they usually on the overrated engine/optimistic with times? I definitely think the CT6 will be quicker than it but I'm not sure about the Korean jobs.

Really neat.. but also pass. If I was stupid loaded I'd like to buy it but w/o any special markings on the outside nobody would "get it" so the joke isn't that funny.

. Thou cannot also not call a car luxury when leather isn't even standard. Funny how you dodge those little facts that show how gullible most Mercedes buyers are. Worded perfectly. If leather is not a STANDARD FEATURE on a car.. it is not luxury. Maybe they make luxurious trims, and in my opinion they do, but not all E Class or C Class cars are luxury automobiles just because they have a nice chassis under the cloth seats.

Hey Casa, when you bought both of your Cadillacs... did you have to pay extra to have leather seats? Or do all Cadillacs come with leather?

I have this odd feeling that there has never been an E250 on the Nurburgring.. So the AMG is VERY LIKELY the only version of an E Class that was tested on the 'Ring. Some people don't care if it's RWD or FWD. Yeah it drips the base price to FIFTY THREE THOUSAND DOLLARS and you still don't get real leather. That's such a joke. They won't have a near 25% off sale like the S Class though. ( That's your bread and butter car too )

It really isn't. If all I wanted was freakin' leather in my MERCEDES BENZ I have to pay an extra $1,620. It's amazing what their clientele is willing to just piss money on, things that are standard on much lesser vehicles(price).

Wow, interesting. I know it was only an XL but the other F150 tested weighed only 4,388lbs I'm curious why they only tested 2WD models.

Of course nothing American has great interiors because they aren't German. *sarcasm* What's funny is for $7000 you get 2hp, fake leather(MB Tex bull$h!), no keyless ignition like the Lincoln comes with, No heated seats like the Lincoln comes with, No rear view Camera like the Lincoln comes with, 17 inch wheels(Lincoln comes with 18's) Yeah, what a bargain the E Class is. Looks like an Sephora store my Girlfriend makes me take her to. Cheap ass looking Mercedes dealership. Sounds awesome just like my Cadillac dealership. Glad the experience is so solid. Yet with that, just like my dealership, this is just bland and does not speak luxury to me. In this case I would have to say that both MB and Cadillac have failed us in having a luxury attractive dealership. That building is actually pretty huge, because it goes back really far. And you drive inside to drop your car off,so you are never outside, which is nice in winter. But the service from the people I think is more important to the experience rather than the building. Same thing at my Chevy dealership.. and GMC/Buick... let alone Cadillac. Is that abnormal? Yeah same at my local Chevy/GMC/Buick dealer. It was reacently updated within the last year or so though. Ha. Sephora stores. Hate'm. I too get dragged in there.

I have to assume they are all doing a similar thing with less bracing(of some sort) for the smaller, lighter cabs. Do you have a link? Maybe I just suck at searching..lol
