1. Whoa Whoa Whoa... If you're an investor(which you brought up stock price) then you are absolutely looking at tomorrow's problems because tomorrow is when you will receive your dividends, or not receive them. Never be short sighted if you're talking about investing.
2. No doubt.. but in Europe.. Ford did beat GM by about $300Mil. Both need to figure out away to stay ahead of the Brexit Bull$h! Yeah I was reading some on the financial websites and it looks like they are both going to lose a lot of money with the Brexit crap. One estimated Ford will lose $1.2B over the next two years from it. http://www.marketwatch.com/story/brexit-could-cost-ford-up-to-12-bln-over-next-2-years-2016-07-28 GM estimated to lose $400M in just the second half of this year from it. So it sounds similar numbers to Ford's $1.2B over two years. Stupid Brexit bull$h!.
3. Is that the new LaCrosse pictured above? Whatever it is, it looks damn good.
4. I can see High Tech Companies doing this to entice their developers to get off their ass and move around. Good point.. I had originally only thought of smaller local restaurants and things along those lines. I don't know how long it takes to find and catch one though so if it's real quick then I don't see the point in a tech company doing it.
5. Year to date the General's stock has tumbled 8.8% to Ford's 10% so neither are kicking any ass right now. But both pay a healthy dividend so as long as they're both profitable I don't think the shareholders will be too upset about one quarter.
6. Yeah, it doesn't WOW me over the other trucks but I do think it looks really good.
7. If it will be my one vehicle it's easy to say CTS-V as nothing there really touches it. The Bentley does but no thanks. If this is a second car I'd probably want something to drive and not just be a show car so it's actually tough to decide between the ZL1(I think the body tweaks completely change the look of the car and I love it!), Z06(because it's a super car killer), or a GT500(because I can't get a Camaro over a Mustang!!!). Corvettes are super badass but I've just always liked the pony cars more, GT500 has a solid rear axle.. so that kind of leave me with the ZL1 as my second car. Noooooow if this is a third car for whatever reason I want the Mclaren! It's a timeless piece of art but I would feel bad putting miles on it if it was a second car so it really would basically be a garage and driveway queen.
8. Why can't I make enough money to buy a new car every 6 months..? That would be perfect.
9. I found an article that put into perspective the buyback situation... If you haven't already, give it a read..it's pretty interesting. http://www.roadandtrack.com/car-culture/news/a30118/vw-emissions-settlement/
10. Makes one wonder if GM could eventually after getting things going on the BOLT with LG use Tesla Gigafactory as a secondary supplier of battery cells. I wouldn't doubt that at all. I think it would be smart on their part and they can probably push "built in America" some as well.
11. Have you been in the new XD? There was one at the STL auto show back in January(or February..) and I was surprised how nice it was inside. Granted I didn't have similarly priced/equipped D3 trucks to compare it to at the same exact time but I thought the interior kind of rocked. If only they could work on the proportions a little better... I just think the XD needed to up it's payload and towing capacity just a little more to really stand apart from the half-tons and become a very good value. Even if the towing just tipped the 13,000lb mark just to say it does. I think that would widen the gap a little better and just looking at a Silverado and F150 can tow 12,xxxlbs and this can tow 12,xxxlbs just looks too similar to not go the F150/Silverado route unless you tow on a regular basis in which I have to believe the larger, heavier truck will just be better suited for "work". Nope never been in one, only making my personal opinion based on the pictures and I still am not impressed. Glad to hear they are better in person, but from these pictures, I would not bother looking at one. This drives home the importance of putting on that first impression as pictures speak a thousand words and then some. I wouldn't consider one just because they don't seem to do anything more than the GM/Ford half tons which have a billion and one configurations available and one of those that I think I would want is the middle cab side. The only thing that really grabs my attention is the 5.0 Cummins. But that's about it. Yeah after looking at those pictures it doesn't do much for me. This is what I sat in basically... Scroll down to the interior pics.. the brown looks great imo. http://www.trucktrend.com/news/1505-2016-nissan-titan-xd/
12. I actually think this is where electric vehicles should have started and grown into "civilian" use as infrastructures grew. I freakin love the idea. I'm kind of surprised it took this long for work trucks to become electric but with the limited range I understand why. I have to assume that the quoted 126 miles should be at max capacity, right? Therefore kind of a worst case scenario situation? I don't know what kind of miles these trucks do a day but I would think a lot of shorter trips could be about 100 miles a day and this seems like it is borderline not enough capacity because when its 20 degrees out you won't get 126 miles and when its 100 degrees out...you also won't get 126 miles. I'm curious about the charge time on this as well because I have to assume the battery packs are much larger than what Tesla is using to be able to propel the mass that they will. I hope this pans out because the less pollution the better!

14. I just found out yesterday that businesses can rent rare Pokemon for people to catch to entice more patrons. I don't know what it costs but it's a pretty dang good idea.
15. Great numbers! I completely feel you on the 70+mph with a strong mpg drop off. From 50-60mph I can get 30-35mpg but once I get to 65-75mph that drops to barely the highway rating of 28mpg and if there's any wind it will definitely be below the 28mpg rating. Winter is even worse.. I am surprised it didn't seem as happy on 91.. I wouldn't think it would take a tank to adjust but maybe it does. Did it at least feel like there was a little extra pep(maybe just mental)?
16. A year old? The first post was in 2011! lol I'm an iPhone guy myself.. awaiting the news on the next one as it is likely going to be my next phone. Every two years for me. I'm currently rocking the iPhone6 If there is no technical reason to upgrade to the next iPhone, will you consider something else that is technically better or still go with the new iPhone? Techwise, seems the last round went to the Samsung Galaxy as a superior phone over iPhone. Nope. lol I like the simplicity and my familiarity with their phones too much. Unless it seems like it takes a step back(like if the 6 never grew in size type of thing) then I would. But the only thing I don't like about iPhones is that I cannot replace the battery. Other than that I've never had an issue. The only reason I wish I could replace the battery is because the end of my two years with it, it tends to eat through battery life. But I almost always have a charger on me as it is(home, work, car, portable one I keep in my back pack that I take to work every day).

18. Congratualtions, Cory!! That's freakin' awesome news!
19. I hope every accountant that knew about this, because I feel like they had to have, gets fired. Along with everybody else that knew about what was going on that either said nothing or was responsible for it. Essentially stealing from their investors by inflating numbers to make their company look better than it is..therefore increasing their stock price when it should not have.
20. There are certain posters I can't fckn stand some times. <-me (if there was a picture of a dude with a gun blowing his brains out, I would have used that one)
21. Says the poster of the other not so random post? Good grief man. Suck it up and grow a sack (as you told me the other day). Now that above was not random at all. Carry on random land. How was mine not random? Jesus, man. It came to my head, I typed it, and I posted it. If you feel like it was about you..sorry.. maybe don't be so self centered. You need to get out and get a job to entertain yourself a little more.
22. I feel one of those two was way less random than the other...
23. Hahaha that's $h!ty luck! I didn't know they can run away from you.. My brother had a 905 Dragonite that "ran away" or however they worded it. He sent me a Snap, "the one that got away" lol I might have to try the game out.. How many are the "new" Pokemon though? I was only into it for the original 150 back in the day and if it's a lot of ones past that I will lose interest really quick.
