What is not being stated here is the fact that it could have been loaded onto the bed of your average pick up as opposed to wasting twenty feet of space on a rollback truck. So is gonorrhea but we still try to make sure we don’t get it.

Sorry but all of their cars came with those very nails. It had jack to do with any EV plans and it is pure trolling and foolish to think that it was when their sales (and their cars) have been garbage since day one.
-
And apparently even their love affair with them didn’t last. They absolutely had no shot in the U.S. and with good reason.

Was it ever really alive to begin with? Those cars took “POS” to a whole other level.

Porsche News: Porsche Introduces the Cayenne Coupe
surreal1272 replied to Drew Dowdell's topic in Porsche
Just no, no, no, no, no. -
That’s my bad with it. From the rear doors to the front, it looks nice. But that C pillar window treatment kills the rest of it. I do look forward to what they will do with the interior but I just hope it’s not the same rehash of the “slab dash” look that exists in cars like the CT6 and their smal CUVs. It looks clean but it also just looks too plain for the brand IMO>
-
And that’s the sad part. The mainstream brand car should not look better than a luxury car, in any way IMO. I actually like how Infiniti did theirs though. At least they put some effort into the actual design aspect whereas it looks like the bean counters at Cadillac took over when it came to CT5s.

That spot just gets worse the more I look at it. And now that someone mentioned earlier, the profile does look a little too much like this...

I was about to say the same EXACT thing regarding the two problems. From a profile angle, that rear pillar just kills the flow. The front and grill look super sharp but the coupe look is getting way too played out (priotizing form over function).

Mercedez Benz News Maybach to Build SUV in Alabama
surreal1272 replied to Drew Dowdell's topic in Mercedes-Benz
That was a joke cap, hence the “LOL”. Having worked at a Chevy dearlship last year, I can tell you that you will not find ONE Silverado for under $35K, even a V6 work truck. On the serious side though, it means nothing that the Slade uses the 1500’s frame because that is literally the only it has in common with it. The price of the 1500 is irrelevant, knowing that little fact.- 33 replies

Mercedez Benz News Maybach to Build SUV in Alabama

Where is this $30K pickup you speak of (sidestepping the fact that it basically shares a frame only with said pick up) LOL?- 33 replies

And the Escalade looks far better (on the outside) than that hideous monstrosity.- 33 replies

Smaller than the Model X but we are expected to believe that it carries seven people? That must be some serious chronic Elon is smoking.

The smaller Blazer lost to the bigger Pacifica, on top of them being two different types of vehicles. Sorry, but that whole MT series was utterly pointless. To say that the Blazer offered nothing shows that you didn’t read the actual reviews of it. It was praised for its poise and driving dynamics, something that is rare in the CUV world. The Passport? HAAAAAHHH!! Honda or not, that was a horrible choice for a CUV name, given the history of said name, (cough, cough Isuzu Rodeo). BTW, it being nothing but a chopped off Pilot does not help its cause.

And that’s fine if they want to go that route but that backs up my “hit for a double” remark. The RX is not the bar setter here nor should it be seen as that if you’re trying to be the best luxury make out there. I’m sure it will sell in fine numbers but so does the Camry. Anyone here actually think the Camry is the best of the midsize cars?

Very true but Porsche was the first to come to my mind given their “sports car” roots that they successfully managed to blend into a luxury SUV/CUV. The XT6 suffers from two problems (whether fanboys want to admit to it or not). It does not look or feel sporty or luxurious when put up against the competition. The potential is there but like I said before, it comes off as a solid double instead of a homerun.

Next time, grow up fanboy. Don’t act like you haven’t been wrong on here. I admitted my mistake. Try saying something constructive for once instead of being a dick in retaliation to any criticism of your pet brand. That is what’s “pathetic”. One car or three (like it was just a year ago), it doesn’t change the fact that you pretty much have given GM a free pass on the import and foreign sourcing of their cars (we won;t even get into the Mexico made product) while bemoaning others of doing the exact same thing, whether its’ being guilty of simply being a foreign make, foreign owned, or just plain old foreign. That is all I am going to say about that because, like I said earlier, I don’t talk to lunatics and you are starting to act like one. Oh and a CUV can be sporty AND luxurious at the same time. If it can be done with a sedan (i.e. CTS-V), then it can be done on a CUV. Porsche seems to have no problem covering both ends of the luxury/sport market so I’m pretty sure Cadillac can do it as well. Your deflection doesn’t change that fact.
