1. I think the shark was already dead.
2. I hate you, you lucky SOB.
3. It was a conversation on msn messenger. He's one of those ultra cheap people who doesn't like to spend any money if he can avoid it. Apparently the check engine light came on his sister's Civic, and they paid $45 to find out what it was, only for me to tell him they do free scans at Autozone. I know, not really a quote, but I haven't heard any good ones lately, and it made me laugh. Well there is one...see how many of you know what it's from.. "But I poop from there" "Not right now you don't."

RC Cars

I still have my Tyco RC Mutator from when I was younger. I drove the wheels off of that thing...burned out 2 of the 4 motors eventually. I wanted to fix it but could never get the damn thing apart. The Hobby grad cars are cooler but cost alot. I met a guy once who said he had put over a grand into his...that's nuts. Right now I'm more into RC planes, I have a SuperCub which is fun to fly...and you can't kill them.

7. Aw man, that is a real shame. I hope it doesn't end up meeting such a sad fate.

David says: for free? Kimura™ the Dodgefan says: yup David says: FUKING ASS
9. Sigh...from what I can see it looks like a huge disappointment, thanks GM.
10. The side looks okay, but the front is still ugly, the grille is so massive, and the upcurved thin headlights make it look like an Asian kid with braces. The rear, as expected from spyshots, looks like a mix of Aura and Civic, but it looks very busy. The interior is nice, as is typical of Honda. Overall, a C. It's average, nothing new or interesting, besides the gawdy grille. I like the current car better.
11. QUOTE(Satty @ Aug 8 2008, 11:35 PM) Lactose intolerant? Nah, my brother is though..give him a glass of milk and clear the room. I tried a new place the other day, maybe something in the food caused, it. Either way, it makes for a great weapon.
12. QUOTE(Satty @ Aug 7 2008, 04:50 PM) Me: for farting Well then I should be banned for being ulta gassy lately.
13. I don't think I've seen a Ram review yet. The Challenger reviews have been very positive. The hybrid SUVs are alright, Autoblog reported getting I think 22 mpg out of their test vehicle.
14. Official release photos can be found in this thread: http://www.cheersandgears.com/forums/index...mp;#entry418159
15. Enjoy :AH-HA_wink:
16. SANTA MONICA, California — Images and specifications of the 2009 Acura TL made their way onto the Web today, ahead of Acura's planned debut for next week. Acura had previously released only a front view and preliminary information for the all-new fourth-generation TL. The 2009 TL will be offered in two versions: front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive. This is the first time Honda's Super-Handling all-wheel drive will be available on the midsize sedan. The front-wheel-drive version gets a 280-horsepower 3.5-liter SOHC V6 engine, and the TL SH-AWD will use a 305-hp 3.7-liter SOHC V6. Both engines are mated to a sequential sportshift five-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters. The 2009 TL also gets a completely revamped interior when it goes on sale this fall. What this means to you: Mixed reactions from the press room here as we start to digest the TL's new look. — Kelly Toepke, News Editor Source: Inside Line
17. I bet it was a small percentage. I know we used ours to pay bills.
18. One of the most retarded and ignorant articles I have ever read. It's ok though, last I heard yahoo wasn't doing so well. Let yahoo die.
19. Not sure where to post this, so feel free to move where appropriate. This is a questions for insiders and people who have a lot of knowledge about platforms and the engineerings aspects of them. It involves the automaker not some project car. This would be for redesigning/heavily modifying an existing vehcile. How difficult is to to stretch the wheelbase, of a platform, widen it, lengthen the trunk, and change the roofline. In addition to these structural changes, the vehicle using this platform would need new suspnsion tuning, and work on NVH levels. Would it be easier an more cost effective to modify this platform to meet these requirements, or design a new platform with these goals in mind? Why?
20. That thing is horrible looking, like an ugly H3...especially from the back.
