  1. You know for someone who enjoys pointing out when someone seems defensive Or scared" you get pretty defensive yourself. It's obvious you're intelligent, you have a lot of knowledge to bring to the table. This is something that everyone enjoys reading, even when sparring ensues. The problem is that, based one most of your posts I've read so far, you say it with a holier-than-thou attitude and if someone disagrees how dare them. I think all parties need to show more respect for each other, and maybe get to know each other a bit. You'll find that'll will make it a more enjoyable place for you and everyone else.
  2. It's so happy!
  3. See there's a difference between blaming an entity for something (deserved or not) and making a personal insult. I would think you'd be smart enough to realize that, and that's what Camino is asking you to tone down.
  4. It's very sad how little is Made in USA these days. One of the last product lines that still are made in America are Craftmans tools and products. It's long been their calling card. A few weeks ago however, I discovered that their less expensive toolboxes (which were still more expensive than say, Black ad Decker) are now made in Mexico. It's very sad.
  5. Like implying someone is an idiot? That's quite mature.
  6. I'd rather buy a used Domestic, Japanese, or European car than a new Chinese POS.
  7. Wasn't there an old thread like this where we found people/animals that looked like the front ends of cars?
  8. Absolutely! Pissed: Sometimes the rear end of the car can form a face too. The license plat area often forms the "mouth" The goofiest looking butt-face IMO is the pre-05(?) Imaplas.
  9. Hey at least I'm not trying to fondle the dash!
  10. It gets worse as they get newer. Because of this need to hide any visible screws because screws = bad, everything fits together in a jig-saw kind of way. So you have to take literally half of the dash and part of the center stack/console apart to get at them. At least it has tilt steering. Today I helped my friend change the gauge cluster in his Corolla because his speedo crapped out. With no tilt steering it takes patience and a small miracle to get it out of the dash, even though the actual process isn't too hard, getting it around the steering column and gauge shroud is a pain in the butt.
  11. Happy Birthday!
  12. I think he meant "who's complaining that they are NOT coming?". I'm not, competition is all well and good but 1.) There's plenty of it already 2.) We have to put up with enough cheap Chinese crap. 3.) You can bet the first round of Chinese vehicles that do eventually make it hear will be deathtraps with more quality problems than the worst 80's Domestic or the worst Jaguar. Don't forget the lead in the paint.
  13. Electrical stuff is a PITA for sure. Anything involving the interior is high in labor costs. I remember the dealer wanting to charge me over $200 to change a light bulb in my gauge cluster(!!!11). Ended up doing it myself for free. :3
  14. I agree about the tail lights...they are far too long.
  15. Well at least it doesn't have the giant spoiler and the ugly wheels. Congrats on the new car...but dude...how did you get that over this?
  16. Found it on deviantart with an awesome comment: :rotflmao:
  17. I'd say do it, but how much have you actually driven the Cobalt in relation to how long it's sat in pieces? I'd say actually drive it some, and wait to mod a Camaro or something.
  18. I really like that front end. I want to see more angles.
  19. That was stupid.
  20. I thought Porsche had the highest profit margins?
  21. @ $4,500 for a Lumina.
  22. I always did like the 3rd gen Camaros...they were on my list when I was considering my first car purchase.
  23. Thanks, I'll give it a shot tomorrow (today).
  24. There's that silver Fiero GT for sale down the street. If I had the money/space for it I'd buy it!
  25. So finally my girlfriend was able to find the school bus that witnessed the accident a few weeks ago. She was able to get the info of it down (the plate, bus number and the company it belonged to). This was yesterday, so by the time I got home the Lawrence School District office was closed, and today I wasn't able to call. I plan to tomorrow, but I'm not sure how to ask or if they are the right people to call. The bus is from North Reading Transportation, which several towns away from us, but makes stops in this area, which leads me to assume that it has a Lawrence bus route for one of the Lawrence Schools...but it didn't say which. When I called North Reading Transportation, they said they didn't handle the school buses, and weren't really sure how I could find the bus (the woman wasn't very helpful/bright). Tomorrow I'm gonna try to call the District and find something out. If that fails has anyone got a clue as how to get a hold of the driver? We really want a witness statement, because as of now the insurance companies are thinking the blame is 50/50, which is utter bull$h!...the stupid bitch that hit us is still trying to say we were "pulled over" Any help would be great.
