  1. No stick shift = no sale!
  2. Still tippy, but not as bad as first impressions. That face and those taillights would look good on a next-gen Equinox, along with First-World proportions. The C-pillar reminds me of the current International-market Trailblazer in some way.
  3. I love my car so far, warts and all. It just feels good to drive.
  4. I don't care for its "on stilts" attitude/altitude, but I understand why it's that way... Third World Problems.
  5. Still a good looking rig, especially in this new trim. Wish the third row could be deleted.
  6. If sales continue at their current blistering pace, they'll be giving away chargers for more than two years.
  7. What is a "constant velocity transmission"?
  8. Versa Note SR looks cool v. its classmates... however, who wants a sport model with the crappy CVT as mandatory? A six speed manual is needed... STAT. Cool to see GM leading the midsize pickup class clearly enough to see the competition scurrying to match them. I always liked Datsun pickups (an '86 1/2 Hardbody 4X4 has been my only Asian automotive purchase so far, bought new and kept 3 years), and the current Frontier is a nice truck, except for the dismal fuel mileage ratings (14/19 for the 4X4? pathetic). It'd be great to see them put a diesel in their Frontier... STAT.
  9. Whoa, thanks for posting, dfelt! My favorite out of those is the Porsha Cayman... not too bright... just the right intensity. Well done!
  10. Agreed, bobo... and Balthy. But those Cadillacs transcend their jaundice and shine through beautifully. That '53 is a knockout! Any more?
  11. How many shades of yellow are there? The sheer size and sleek lines of the 2014 Chevy Spark 2LT lend themselves well to the color - Lemonade! Let's post some of the more interesting shades of yellow over the years, waddya say?
  12. I believe a fullsize half-ton diesel should be a V6. Dodge has one, Ford is bringing one... GM needs one as well.
  13. Look deep into my eyes... and post what you see.
  14. I really like the smoother new look, and the new interior is way ahead of the old Soul.
  15. I was thinking the same. 2015 Colorado is an awesome, beautiful truck, but do I want to commute in one? I would like to work closer to home, but reality bites.
  16. Well anyway, Car&Driver tested the base model with the manual and came away impressed, saying it is very nice for the class, and much improved over the old bodystyle, with a smooth, quiet ride and a nice shifter feel. Maybe I'll go test drive it.
  17. Local dealer has a green base model Soul with a 6 speed stick shift for $15,610. I was researching the Soul then here at home, and it is amazingly well-equipped for the price, with that super-long warranty. Electric windows/locks/heated mirrors/keyless entry, privacy glass, rear wiper, 6 speaker stereo, a full compliment of safety gear. Even with the small 1.6 and wheel covers (I could pull them and ride on black steelies like the kids!), this could make a great daily driver to and from work. At that price, I might be able to afford a 10-year old truck for a second vehicle. THOUGHTS?
  18. This is the Grand Wagoneer of the New Millennium.
  19. Might I suggest (based on my own experience) an AA meeting? (Automobiles Anonymous). "Hello, my name is Jacket..."
