  1. You know the only thing that would make me want a Traverse? The insanely hot guy in the commercial ironing shirtless. Pure genius.
  2. Ocn... is that chrome on the bottom of the grille? If so, is that standard? I didn't know Cobalts had that on them.
  3. I'd say HUGE resemblance...
  4. Looks great ocn! Love the color! Those wheelcovers look like they're off the previous gen Impala!
  5. Wow... you just brought back a memory... my dad never did figure out what I meant by "the gutters on the car", when I was a little boy talking about the drip rails on our 82 Malibu Classic.
  6. Well, let me ask your opinion... My friend and I have been in an argument for years over what it means. I say it's like a girlfriend/loved one, which is what my parents have always used it for. He insists it has a negative connotation like a mistress you're having an affair with.
  7. I HATE when I go on a date and someone is glued to their phone. Instantly ruins their chance of a 2nd date.
  8. I'll admit, texting can make things a little easier, but I know people who send them while driving and I told them I won't get in a car if they do that. I've only sent a few texts at red lights. It's just too dangerous. The frequency of usage with texting amongst the youth has really upset me.. their writing is horrendous. In formal writing, they'll use abbreviations such as, "the man asked, 'how r u?'" I took a cell phone from a girl last year I don't know how many times during lunch... she told me in one month, she made over 7000 texts, and her mom upped her texting plan to meet her needs. You should have seen what her writing was like in Italian! Their capitalization, spelling, sentence structure, etc, is just shot. It doesn't help that the state is dumbing down the curriculum. Sigh. And I have to have my administrator ask me why I spent time going over what nouns, verbs, and adjectives are, with students in an Italian class.
  9. I have to wonder if anyone would leave the 18" steel wheels on their purchase.
  10. Interesting, I understood every word except "cunada". I'm assuming it's the same as "cumada" in Sicilian?
  11. If Toyota got rid of the Tundra altogether, how long before the PR guy turns this into a green decision?
  12. Wow... we're a little higher out here. $3.61 for regular and $4.49 for diesel.
  13. Not in my opinion. Whenever I go to one here, the quantity is huge, the quality is up there, and the variety is outstanding. The environment is very nice. As for Olive Garden, Bob, you hit the nail on the head. How people can call that Italian food is beyond me. I can put red food coloring in water too... does that mean I can call it sauce?
  14. I think you're reaching, honestly. When I originally read the title, I thought you meant they were getting the boot :AH-HA_wink:
  15. I happen to be a fan of The Cheesecake Factory :AH-HA_wink: Oh, and John Harvards... they make the ONLY beer I like.
  16. Papagallo's, Franina's, and Jade Garden. All awesome.
  17. I find it interesting the heated seats have large dials. Or are those pushbuttons that stick out? Nice to see the transmission offers auto-stick.
  18. Ah. Yeah, I'm not liking the fabric on the dash/doors at all.
  19. It's just gorgeous--I can't stop looking. I have to definitely write Lamborghini and see if they'll give me some things for my classroom.
  20. This is just soooooo hot!
  21. Here's the thing, it looks awesome. However, I don't understand why Chevy wants to make this "premium", so to speak. They're going to raise the price of the car. Aren't there other brands that could benefit from a premium compact sedan? I mean, if they're going to continue overlapping brand-definitions, why not just kill everything and make GM just Chevy and Cadillac?
  22. Thankfully Kelly doesn't do things like that, but she does feel it's her mission in life to bark and chase anything off the property, whether it be a rabbit, squirrel, possum, a leaf that blew in front of her (yeah, she got really pissed at a few leaves the first Fall she experienced when she was a puppy). The worst thing she did was play with a baby rabbit and get our attention to kinda say, "Hey, look what I have!" The baby rabbit fortunately hopped away when we got Kelly's attention. The funny thing is, whenever Max did something wrong, like kill a bird, rabbit, whatever, Kelly would tattle on him by getting us and showing us. It was kinda funny.

Well... I also have some resentment working at CVS when I was in highschool... they always put me in the maxi-pad/tampon/douche aisle... and I'd always get these women who just wanted to get in, grunt, grab, get out. I felt like I was going to be attacked by a woman once cause I was between her and the pad of her choice.
