I have an aversion to anything maxi pad/tampon related. I was sent to the store by my hag for some emergency pads and plugs and such, and it was like overwhelming. There must have been 100 different brands/sizes/types of absorbency/ratings/ones with wings/ones that don't fly/ones that smell like potpourri/etc.
  2. I wonder if it is that Mystic Sapphire Tricoat thing that is on the Lucerne for 2009.

What about going as the Kool-Aid guy? Or a giant packet of Tang?
  4. Well, I've only been through 2 hurricanes... and Gloria was "cool" to me because I was only 8 and violent weather is something I love. I have to say the tornadoes that have been hitting Long Island have been a bit intense... the scariest was a year ago because I was driving through it, but again, not that scary. I'd have to say I'm petrified of being in an earthquake. The only two I've been through in my life have been so tiny, I didn't know they were happening.

  6. Eh, that's secondary. I started college back in 1995 thinking I was going to go for architecture. Now I'm an Italian teacher. Just get yourself in the door--you'll start taking a variety of classes and some things will just call out to you!
  7. I wish the lightning bolt in the word Volt lit up.
  8. Good for you Cory! That's awesome!

    Addiction

You know... that's a VERY accurate description of what it is! Honestly, I drink water 99% of the time. I've gotten into a habit of having 1 cup of coffee at work because the Spanish teacher brew's Spanish coffee in the morning and it smells oh so good, so I have to have. I drink either root beer/dr. pepper/sprite when I'm going to have soda, but again, that's very rare, and only if I'm out somewhere.
  10. Why can't we see beautiful colors and wood-designs on our luxury cars anymore?!

Do you serve it in small quantities and put a mint leaf on the side? :AH-HA_wink: Okay, truth be, I've never had Kool-Aid or Tang. Ever. I did have my first Twinkie last week... a student brought it in because he refused to let me live my life without one. I don't think there was a single natural ingredient in the whole thing, but damn it was pretty good!
  12. Just curious--does anyone know if Acura has plans in the works to actually build an auto tranny that has more than 5-speeds? Seems to me they've had these around for a while and to play the luxury market, you need to get on board.

  14. I have mixed feelings on whether this is a base or higher up trim... only because, inside, we have a leather-stitched (or at least it's the appearance that it's leather-stitched), dash. As for the grille, it's possible it'll be an option, just as on the Lucerne, that you can order an all-chrome grille.

  20. I have to say, I love it. I'd be very proud to be in this. I found out it was the school nurse who bought the Enclave. She's extremely happy with it. Now I'd have to get myself a new LaCrosse so I could turn some heads and bring the word "Buick" back in peoples' vocabularies.
  21. Chi vorrebbe parlarti? I have all but my "hag" on the Verizon network. I'm trying to get her to switch over. I even tempt her with the 19% discount and she won't budge. And she's the reason I had to up my text plan to unlimited.
  22. Such a shame.
  23. Saw my very first G8 today, a black GT.
  24. I have a Verizon Moto Q. After the 19% discount, it is about $55 a month.
  25. It'll get you to a gas station... :AH-HA_wink:
