Neat video....this car would be a nice choice for the next Bond movie, a break from the Astons. I wonder if they will use different names in China since they are superstitious about such things..

That's how many are listed...wheelbase, roof height, and window variations. Alas, they don't have the interesting pickup and double cab pickup versions that Europe gets.

IIRC the existing RR coupe and convertible are based on the Phantom and this is based on the Ghost, which is the 'baby' Roller..

Saw a silver V6 5th gen Camaro w/ what looked like a set of 5 spoke steel wheels that I didn't recongnize...did they change the base wheels for '13? These had bright spokes instead of black ones.

That is about right for all the seniors there. Definitely not seniors..BMW 6 series here seem to attract a younger douchebag demo...

I like it..love the roofline, the interior, the two tone paint, the detailing...and it's no lightweight either...hefty and substantial.

Chevrolet News:Rumorpile: A More Affordable Corvette In The Works?
Robert Hall replied to William Maley's topic in Chevrolet
Who knows, by 2020 the base Corvette engine may be a 300hp 2.0 Turbo 4....maybe the crazy British guy that was on here a few years ago wasn't so crazy... -
That's the point I was making... I know the technology is advanced and how they drive is probably incredible, but the designs of these new supercars leave me cold. They all look like they were drawn up by 12 yr old video gamers. There is nothing like the beauty of designs like the Miura, Ferrari 250 GTO, Ferrari 250 Lusso, Ferrari 365 GTB/4 (Daytona) etc in them... there is no sexy in these modern supercar designs, only bling, brutality and violence. What else does the human need ofther than Bling, Brutality and Violence? Just look at the current state of the world! We so need another Love revolution! Heh-heh.... I'm a techie and like modern technology and great handling and performance, but beauty is what is missing from the supercars of today....the styling of something like the Veneno is so tasteless and ugly, iMO. Looks like cartoon $h! from the Transformers or something.

Or a place to install child or dog seats The Maserati coupe and convertible is a neat car, see a few around once in a while...fairly scarce. Scarce, yes. Over here too. There's a black one that parks in the office building in front of the one I'm located at and it's just Sadly they are very popular in seattle and you see them daily. Nice cars but not as rare as they would seem to be elsewhere. The luxo coupe/convertible in a similar price range that seems very popular around here (in Scottsdale and Paradise Valley, mostly) is the BMW 6 series, and most seem to have the full douchebag trim--black w/ oversized bling wheels, etc.

Looks decent, probably would get lost in the US market--the profile resembles several other compact 5dr hatchbacks..some Mazda3, some Kia, etc in there.

6 inches, looks like... also, the 2dr wheelbase was about 6 inches longer than the Ford Bronco, which was only 104.7. 2-door: 111.5 in (2,832 mm) 4-door: 117.5 in (2,985 mm)

With the Wrangler? Probably. The standard Wrangler has a very short wheel base. With the Tahoe 2-door no, not much difference at all. Was the 2dr Tahoe on a shorter wb than the 4dr ?

Vile and disgusting styling, IMO....with the red-rimmed wheels it looks like one of Hot Wheels fantasy models scaled up to 1:1. About the only Lamborghinithat I ever liked for the styling was the Miura...saw one in person once, what a beautiful shape.

Odd they used the feminine form of 'the' instead of the masculine 'il'....some interesting styling directions..more interesting than the hideous McLaren P1 or the overwrought, cheesy Lambo Veneno, IMO.

Of the last two, I'd seriously consider the Beetle TDI. Seems like it would be a great commuter car..and road trip car. Overall, I'd have to seriously consider the Golf or Beetle....I'm generally not a small car fan, but a small solidly built diesel I could go for..and I really like VW interiors...

They were nice back in the day...when I had my Bronco II I looked pretty seriously at getting a full size Bronco.
-
I would think the 4dr would probably drive better on-road than the 2dr due to the longer wheelbase. I'd probably go for the 4dr also, been there done that w/ 2dr SUVs w/ my old Bronco II back in the day...4drs are just more useful.

Item: Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4x4
Robert Hall replied to Robert Hall's topic in Member's Rides Showcase
Replaced the battery back in January. Last week, had trouble starting it, the battery kept going flat even after charging. Turned out it was the starter...replaced it Saturday, drove it to work today (drove the DTS all last week). -
....gee...she buys a new car every 12-18 munts and you buy one every 12-18 minutes....what a coincidence....just kidding, pal... That's funny....I'm in my 12th year now since buying a new car... the Jeep just keeps going and going...

I test drove a soft-top Wrangler back in '00 when I bought my GC...it was ok, but too noisy and stripped down inside for highway use, IMO. I wouldn't mind one for an off-road rock crawler/mud plugger weekend toy, though.
-
I'd take the top off in the summer (normal place)/ winter (AZ)....the open air experience is a key part of what a Wrangler is all about...otherwise, it's just another SUV.
