Never been to Houston, but everyone I know says it's the pits. My sister worked there for a while on a contract, hated it..have a couple friends in Denver that moved from there. I've never spent much time in Texas...too much of a red state for me...had a job offer about 10 years ago in the Dallas area (Addison), flew down there for a few days, checked out, didn't like it...too flat. Austin I've heard is very nice, but never been there. I just don't care for the South in general, other than S. Florida and the Keys, which is really different from the rest of the South.

How about Joy Ride 3---have Rusty Nail driving an old Pete like in Duel and running over smug Prius drivers...

Ya, in the rain..at night...with Trinity in PVC. Great scene, goregous car.. IIRC, the Lincoln appears in one of the later movies also. IIRC, in the first movie, it was a '63, but a '65 in one of the later movies...thought there was a change of model year for some reason..haven't seen them in a while.

Is that rectangle look a separate (welded-in) piece from the surrounding metal? May be a different metal or not undercoated or sealed like the surrounding area... I've seen wierd rust on hinges themselves before..

I've got those on order, don't have them yet. A couple models I'm looking forward to---Revell just announced that in the fall they are coming out with new 1:25th scale kits of the '66 Impala SS and '72 Olds Cutlass Hurst/Olds convertible.

I'd love to see a director have the guts (and $$$) to destroy 100 new Camrys, Priuses, and H2s in one sequence..that would be cool. Rob

Yeah, like Nic Cage in the black STS in 'Face Off'. Can't think of any recent Caddy villian cars besides the Escalade the twins drove in Matrix: Reloaded.

Seeing a car hauler full of HUMMER H2s roll over and explode would be cool...or a train crash into a line of 20 or so HUMMERs.

The taillgate hinge issue could be from bad weatherstripping or a leak around the rear glass?

Great photo..really emphasizes it's 'hippyness'. I worry that once Zeta is phased out, the next Camaro will be based on the Cruze (which is probably what GM has been planning all along, crisis or not). Rob

Heard it's pretty nice...know a couple people in the area (Marietta), but I've really only been through the airport a couple times and around the freeway beltline when doing the Ohio<->Florida drives years ago... Rob

Honolulu and Miami are both very interesting...I've been to both within the last 2 years, and spent quite a bit of time in Miami and S. Florida when I lived in the Keys for 6 years. Not sure if I'd want to live full time in either, though, both are kind of geographically isolated and more fun/touristy than serious business or technology hubs..

Yeah, no ocean, but San Diego or LA is only a couple hour flight..that's what I've done for years..

Interesting...I put West.. will have to try East and see what it comes up with. The climate is the main turn off for me for the East...harsh winters and humid summers.

That looks very similar to my results, though mine had LA and Portland instead of Austin and Denver. Phoenix, IMHO, looses it's appeal fast w/ the triple digit 'summer' (May-Sept) temps and the hazy silver summer skies, and ugly beige desert surroundings. Not clear, bright blue skies like high altitude Colorado Springs or Denver..

Mine came up with Honolulu, Portland, Seattle, Los Angeles, and San Diego as the top choices. Been to all, I like aspects of all of them, some more than others. I've lived in Colorado Springs, beautiful location, but Denver fits me much better.

Cool...I read the Dice and Monster postings all the time from Denver, Portland, and Seattle. And Columbus and Pittsburgh. Seems to always be more cube action in those areas than the Valley of the Sun.

Let's see: Boring but well paying contract w/ big stable bank. Work is very dull right now. Seeing lots of layoffs in tech industry, but lots of companies still hiring Long but easy commute Recession, constant doom and gloom in the news (tuning out) Auto industry meltdown depressing Summer is here. 5 months of 100F+ degree days ahead. Joy Joy. Truly growing to hate AZ for many reasons. Must accelerate exit strategy. Family squabbles. 401(k)/IRA etc losses/non growth. Looking forward to mini-vacation this weekend in Ohio, and a week off at the end of June beginning of July. Not sleeping well. Getting stress-induced psoriasis. Cranking up Ambien dosage. Cranking up Zoloft dosage. Have to go see chiro for pinched nerve in back.
