Are you a BI family?
I've got an all Ford driveway, then again, mine is the only car in my driveway. If we branch it out to my immediate family we've got 2 Fords, 1 Saturn, 1 Pontiac and 1 Chrysler that still technically runs, plus the Opel my mom is driving while in the UK. BTW: My favorite car to ever grace my driveway...2000 Toyota Camry Solara SE V6

How the Mighty Have Fallen!
Solution: You drop them off at the concert, go get hammered, sober up in the parking lot and drive them home. Or rent a limo.

I *heart* baseball!!
Both teams are young and immensely talented, I'd give the D-Backs the pitching edge (by quite a bit) while the Rockies are (quite a bit) better defensively, so the division will likely come down to who hits better. You cannot go wrong either way, the Dodgers and Padres could make things interesting, but it'll come down to the two teams that represented the NL West in last years playoffs.

Did You All Turns Your Lights Off For 1 Hour At 8 PM Local Time?
All the lights in my house are usually out anyways. At 8 last night, my laptop and living room tv were on. The light in the garage may have been on, I dont know, that thing has a mind of its own.

Automobile magazine has officially Jumped the Shark
Thats Wikipedia's definition. If you've ever driven a vehicle with a CVT, you would know why any "traditional" automatic is completely different in driving feel. Calling the Dynaflow a CVT is like me saying the Fusion is carburated because fuel goes into the engine.

Automobile magazine has officially Jumped the Shark
How is a 2-speed Dynaflow (what I assume most '59 Buicks have) a CVT? 2 forward ratios vs. infinite forward ratios

I *heart* baseball!!
The Braves have the potential to be very good, if Smoltz, Glavine and Hampton can pitch well over an entire season, the first two are, to be frank, old, while Hampton it seems cannot get out of bed without getting hurt.

I *heart* baseball!!
That time of year again, opening day is tomorrow. Well, the real opening day, those two games in Tokyo dont count. Hopefully this season ends a little better for my Cubbies, the 3-game sweep out of the playoffs sucked. A World Series title would be great, a pennant would be ok. It will be nice watching the Cards lose. Predictions: AL East - Red Sox AL Central - Indians AL West - Mariners AL Wild Card - Tigers NL East - Mets NL Central - Cubs NL West - Rockies NL Wild Card - Phillies World Series - Cubs over Indians

Mysticism
I'd also put both Scion 5-doors alongside the Vibe ahead of the Astra 5-door, in terms of versatility and equipment, if not style. Dont think I'd put the tC ahead of the Astra 3-door.

2009 G6 Changes Posted
Did it on the Malibu and Aura too. My guess would be to simplify production, either make them standard across the board or delete them. Deleting them all together was probably cheaper. Yay new GM!

Mysticism
The Astra is nice, but nowhere near as practical as the Vibe. HHR SS>Vibe>Astra

Short lived GM Engines
Also used in the Catera and 9-5, I believe.

Geely GT Concept
I like it, I'll even go against the flow and say that I like the grill too. Not that cleaning it up a bit for production would be a bad thing.....

G8s are finally shipping to dealers
I got some pics of a white G8 here, nothing fantastic. The red one in the showroom wasn't fantastic either.

Automotive Death Watch
Thats a great power/weight ratio, but my god those things are tiny. Driving a Swift/Metro is like driving a first-gen Miata, I'm just too tall to do it.

$10 million bounty for 100MPG car
When I drove the Sebring, if I put it into neutral and coasted downhill at about 80, the DIC would register 99mpg. Does that count?

Just ran recon on my local Pontiac store
Sorry for the less than spectacular picture quality, thats what happens when you mix a 1.3 megapixel Blackjack and bad lighting. They have a red one in the showroom, couldn't get a good picture of it. The website also lists a third G8 GT, but it wasn't anywhere to be found. This particular car has the premium package, 18" all-seasons and carries a sticker of $31,395. Honestly, I am still underwhelmed.

GM @ NYIAS: Solstice Coupe
My Fusion has the antenna embedded in the glass (they started the roof-mounted ones on '07s) and the reception sucks.

Edmunds: Pontiac G8 GT vs. Dodge Charger R/T
Those "That thing got a Hemi?" commercials killed any chance Dodge had of being taken seriously by image conscious buyers north of the Mason-Dixon.
