I'm willing to bet that 90% of CamCords dont have NAV, though bluetooth would be a nice addition.

6'2, 200lbs even this morning, probably a couple of pounds less now after busting my ass riding today. I've been meaning to go get a new seat since I got the bike, never got around to it. Its only a problem when I'm riding distances, so I'm definitely going to have to sometime soon. I'll also check into padded shorts, although I've gotten really comfortable riding in whatever pair of old shorts I put on. Thanks for the suggestions.

I have a bicycling issue, I was hoping someone on here could help out, I know some of you have mentioned biking as a hobby in the past. Basically, I've spent the last 2 years doing short, intense rides, a couple of hours at a time over hellacious terrain, and my body is used to it. My issue is, I'm going to do a charity ride (Start to Finish MS, anyone want to donate?) in September , it'll be 80-100 miles each way (dont know the route yet) and I'm worried about trying to turn myself into an endurance cyclist. Today, I went on a 40 mile ride, that frankly didn't go well. My ass was in the most extreme pain I've felt in years and my back didn't feel that greta either. I'm really sunburnt (I know how to solve this one, I just wasn't thinking) and I went through a ton of water, roughly 6 liters. I've still got roughly 3 months to train, but want to do it in the most efficient way possible, any advice in regards to training, equipment (my Gray Fisher is a terrible bike for this, but its what I've got, I do need a new seat) or pain management?

I really want a Quadski, I've seen a few pics and videos and it just looks too cool for words.

Beautiful. The wheels wouldn't look great on a regular SRX (in my most humble of opinions) but they're perfect on one with the sport package. Congrats.

Resale value doesn't just effect how much you can sell it for in 2 years, it effects how much you get from the insurance company if the car is totaled, which does happen.

If I could find a Celebrity wagon or a Country Squire or something of that ilk, I'd be all over it, because lets face it, they'll run forever with minimal investment, which would be nice for something that will barely be used.

I'd consider, actually prefer, a full size fan, easier to work on and generally cheaper, just a bit tough to get ahold of, seems they get run into the ground then go straight to the junkyard. Gotta go with what I can get my hands on. SUVs and trucks are pricier than vans, minivans and station wagons, and I dont want to put too much money into something that will only get a few hundred miles a year.

You know the kayak I mentioned above? For now I'm keeping the Fusion, and am still afraid it'll be awkward to get the kayak on and off of it. Plus, I want to get one of these sometime later this year or next year, so a roof rack isn't feasible. That brings me to crappy van shopping. I'm talking things in the $3-500 range, in that range I've found a few running, barely presentable Aerostars and Caravans and the like. One that I'm interested in is a $250 first gen Voyager with a good motor but the tranny only has first hear (a bad transmission from Chrysler? shocking!) and a decent body/interior. Considering I'm going to take the rear seats out and throw a wet kayak and dirty bike in it, it seems perfect, as long as I can get a new transmission. The same place (an extremely shady dealership on the wrong side of town with a large selection of beaters) has an older Ford Ranger that started up and sounded good but has a flat tire and no spare, so I couldn't cruise it around the lot, its a stick so replacing the whole tranny wont be an issue (hopefully) but the clutch may be. The Ranger is $100 more than the Voyager, but I'd rather have the enclosed security of a van.

Yeah, you're in no imminent danger, though it is possible for any exhaust leak to allow the exhaust into the car. The bigger problem is that it'll get worse and worse until its unbearably loud.

Well, $500 and 4 hours of waiting tell me that exhaust manifolds on EcoTecs aren't easy or cheap to replace. I waited a long time to do mine too, so it got really really loud before I got it replaced.

I saw about a dozen Tundras on the road today, so, as has been established before, you really cannot go with what you see in your particular area.

The Accord hybrid was an interesting experiment because they used the hybrid powerplant for performance, not economy, gains.

Give me the Trax or the Groove with a decent interior and 120hp and we're good. I'll be a good boy and at least wait to try out an Astra before making a move.
