For me...

05-06 Mustang GT, Daily.

1970-1997 Ford F150 Lifted and running a 460, 38-40 inch tire, ugly and crusty but not rusty, built to run hard.

1 Ton Silverado diesel drew cab set up to tow, so I could haul a boat, move woodworking tools, tow a camper, or intimidate stray dogs and small children.

Miata set up for Autocross.

Really nice lineup!  I thought of a Ford Crown Vic myself, both for the thread and for an inexpensive family car.

I could totally go for a grannymobile Town Car.  They have drop in head units with full NAV, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto available... that's all I'd need.

...I am starting to fall hard for the current Conti, after panning it so hard.  Something about what you said about a car with pampering luxury...

Current conti, did not like it because I did not consider the design very athletic...but that is what I am starting to really like about it...it is a car that is not afraid to go its own way and to hell with what everyone else thinks...kind of subtle and bold in ford/Lincolns approach...

There is an old school American full size quality about the Panthers I've always liked, and have driven many as rentals..not as large or ornate as the '70s bloat beasts, but descended from them...(love the '70s LTDs, Marquis, Continental, etc).

Ohhh yes....and let's not forget the 1970's full sized Thunderbird, before the downsized Birds of the late 1970's. If we only had modern fuel injection in the 1970's and some ways to make the bigger birds more efficient...we could have had premium Bids through the eighties and 90's, rather than the cheaper/more austere birds we got.

Late 1960's was a good Era for Thunderbirds as well...love me some 69!

The grown up cougar vibe is strong here.

I am surprised by this one as it is in nice condition and yet all others equal to this are in the 80-90K range. Crazy did not know they were going that high. Wonder why this one is so cheap?

I was going to put the M45 under Daily or Cruiser but I couldn't decide.. always attracted to that distinct car.

S2000 is very under rated as a car, and perhaps the most unique car, dollar for dollar, built between 2000-2010.  Love that choice as well.

The 350 is also an especially nice choice.  i like the steering feel in that car, much more responsive than a Mustang or Camaro.  Finding one that hasn't been beaten to death may be an issue, as every example I ahve ever looked at has been ridden hard and put away wet.

I wanted an Olds...but Oldsmobiles are now a tad too old to daily drive.

There is the Aurora...but if I choose the Aurora, I might as well choose a newer vehicle in the Pontiac Bonneville and one that is a tad more powerful than the Aurora V8 and and that point, the 2005 Bonneville GXP is probably that platform's best iteration...and it looks better than the Aurora...sleeker, sexier and waaaaay less bloated....

2. SUV

I usually choose a Jeep Wrangler in these situations, but after doing the last Dream Garage Thread, I got jealous of what I gave to FordCosworth...

I want one too!

3. Family car/cruiser.  A shout out to Cubical.

The newest Lincoln Town Car I could get within the rules...2007.

 

4. Week-end warrior car.

I just LOOOOOVE these...

It wont be the big block classics as those may exceed the 15K limit...but it be the Disco era T-Top with the choked 400 or Olds 403 or whatever they came in....1979 vintage where Pontiac sold a ton of them and so the price aint high just yet ....

In whatever colour combo is available but definitely the Bird is on that hood with those snowflake hwheels. Preferable like the pic, but blue will do....or white.

Or gold....

The silver anniversary one may exceed 15K though!

1. Haven't been in enough newer stuff to get a strong pull here. Nothing really grabs me- I would like to see one of those Bonne GXPs up close; they were sleek.

2. Ford F-series RC/LB, could do anything from early '60s thru early 90s (kinda miss my '94). Then again, I've gotten pretty used to the utility of a CC.

3. '60s Pontiac Safari, upgrade to OD, tighten up the suspension a bit. Would prefer '62-64, but saw an intriguing '70 yesterday.

4.  Still liking my '59 Invicta coupe for road/track car. Purchase price can easily be under the cap, but as-I'm-building-it is easily over that. 470CI/ 4L80E/ Dana 60, 550 HP.

Agree on the Safari thing...
