  1. Which totally makes sense for what you are talking about Drew with a V4 FWD solution which based on your drawing above would still have the engine and tranny sitting mostly behind the front wheels.
  2. Is it real leather? I have been told that Cadillac uses real leather but Chevy used pleather or how ever you spell fake leather?
  3. My 2006 Escalade ESV leather seats still look amazing with no cracks after 125,000 miles. Even still smells kinda new when I get in it. Course I do not smoke and mostly just drink, rarely eat in the SUV.
  4. Very much a Luxury golf cart for inner city use only.
  5. That is one bad ass looking truck. So killer!
  6. Very cool drawings, one can see how all the weight would help the tires grip.
  7. I agree with Drew, too much money for too little car and their name badge.
  8. Pigeon Shot
  9. WOW, That is one ugly car, still not a fan of it. Yet it has the BMW propeller logo on it and those tree huggers will eat it up.
  10. Very cool photo of the Olds engine.
  11. Tequila Shots!
  12. That is too freakin funny. Pretty amazing to see how well some of those cars held up. To bad they destroyed the caddy.
  13. Other than the cleaning issues, I really do hope it continues to be a smooth sailing project for you. We all deserve a break and a smooth sailing project in our life.
  14. Happy Belated B-Day guys
  15. While not a fan of CR, I am glad they finally did get some solid good press and hope this really helps with peoples perception of American Auto's. Go GM Go
  16. Thanks Balthazar for posting the pics and info. Awesome History
  17. This sounds like a game of musical chairs. Very sad state of mgmt.
  18. I agree with Drew, what was the reason for COE? Kenworth and Peterbuilt both gave up on COE here and kept their stagecoach style of trucks. Yet in Europe they love COE and hate the stagecoach style of trucks.
  19. Sure, GM makes BiFuel CNG/Petrol trucks and vans. Pretty much any auto can be converted to run on CNG. Opel has a conversion option for the Opel Adam that would be awesome.
  20. That came from Consumers Report! Freakin amazing they could write that much niceness about a domestic car.
  21. Seems India is moving to CNG rickshaws for mass transit. http://www.thehindu.com/news/cities/Vijayawada/bajaj-4stroke-cng-autorickshaw-launched/article2588110.ece Course Opel has a great family of CNG auto's that GM should bring here. http://media.opel.com/media/intl/en/opel/vehicles/cng/2009.html Consumer Vehicles : OPEL CNG Vehicles OPEL Astra Caravan CNG Fuel Types: Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) Manufacturer: Opel Available In: Czech Republic Source: International Association for Natural Gas Vehicles Additional Sources: CNG Website (Czech) Comments: The Astra Caravan CNG was released in 2002 and has a small 14-liter (3 gallon) gasoline tank in addition to the CNG tank. It gets 71 hp and can travel 370 km (230 mi) on CNG and 520 km (323 mi), if you include the gasoline reserve. OPEL Combo CNG Fuel Types: Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) Manufacturer: Opel Available In: Germany, Spain Source: International Association for Natural Gas Vehicles Additional Sources: GM International Comments: The Combo 1.6 CNG uses a monovalentplus engine, meaning that it runs primarily on natural gas (19 kg tank), but has a 14-liter (3 gallon) gasoline reserve tank in case there is not a natural gas fueling station nearby. It delivers 94 hp, has a range of 550 km (340 mi), and produces 133 g/CO2 per kilometer. The van has also been aerodynamically designed to reduce drag and improve efficiency. OPEL Zafira CNG Fuel Types: Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) Manufacturer: Opel Available In: Germany, Spain Source: International Association for Natural Gas Vehicles Additional Sources: NetCarShow.com | Top Speed Comments: The Zafira CNG was Opel’s first CNG vehicle, released seven years ago. For the 2009 model year, the engine has been updated to a 1.6-liter turbo CNG, delivering 150 hp and 210 Nm of torque. The previous engine only delivered 94 hp. It has been named the "Best Seven-Seater" in the German Motor Club Environmental Car List for five years in a row.
  22. Kirkland Toyota Dealership just moved into their new place and where at the old one Scion had their own actual building, the new place, it is just a section within the dealership building. They have totally toned down the whole scion is a separate brand/platform. The Toyota dealership on highway 99 in edmonds also just converted their Scion stand alone floor into a large multilevel parking garage to store their inventory rather than have it off site. They have gone to a single sales floor with a section dedicated to Scion and the rest all about Toyota. I see this brand dying on the vine not surviving more than a few more years. Why else take away dedicated sales space in a separate building and going to a single building with a kiosk inside for the brand.
  23. I wonder if it is really a bad injector or just a dirty partially clogged one that needs a professional cleaning. Here in Seattle we have Dr. Injector and he has saved me a ton of money. My daughters Durango was acting like a bad injector and the dodge dealership wanted to replace them all at over 1K plus tax and doctor injector did an assesment of the injectors and recommended a professional cleaning was all that was needed and to stop using arco gas. Just under $500 including tax later and 3yrs down the road and it still drives great. I have come to the assessment that dealerships have turned true mechanics into parts changers with no real troubleshooting skills to understand what the problem really is. I do not know what all is included in the so called ASE certification in regards to actual troubleshooting skills training to really fix problems, but except for my cadillac dealership which has a clearly older mechanic base, experiance at chevy, ford and dodge of the last few years has not been good from a repair stand point.
  24. I think you take the Cadillac shield, add the ducks and then have the V go through the emblem would be sweet looking.
  25. Awesome pictures you posted, thank GMTruckGuy!
