Bummer, sorry to hear about that Ocnblu, sucks when stuff like that happens, all the best to getting it fixed and back on the road ASAP. Tell us how you like the Sierra, ride, etc especially compared to your truck.

BMW I think failed in many ways with the i Series, too customer built, too high a price with too limited range. GM hit the note right and I think if MB does it right with range and style, they will succeed with BMW failed. I only hope Cadillac is being aggressive to build properly priced EV's and plug-in Hybrids into their lineup.

Like all those 50-65 year olds with masters, doctorates and PHDs that are unemployed as they feel they do not have to change, continue to learn and move forward, the fact is EV's will not replace petro immediately, but climate change is real and even the arabs who are pushing education to build other industries outside of Oil know we are in the final decades of it's use. Countries are going to push to find a way to clean up emissions and while battery production is just another form of Greenhouse gas compared to petrol, EVs does make city living especially far better. For one that works in the auto industry, I would expect you to take a more embracing role as accidents will happen and you will still have work as long as you learn about the EVs so your shop can work on them. Jaguar's place could be a leading one if they do it right for style, design and performance plus range. This could make them a player rather than a fading footnote in history. Change is inevitable and just like all the spraying going on to kill the mosquito larvae to prevent Zitka, petros days are numbered I don't owe you an explanation. You assume that because I am anti-electrification that I haven't kept up my industry training. Hello Ocnblu, I am making a generalization in regards to learning. I know you have been attending training to keep your skills updated. I am just pointing out that I disagree with your own statement you posted about what Jaguar is doing. Have a great day!

Way to soon for rust but then FORD - Fix or repair daily I know the brine on the roads takes it's toll, but still 3 years seems crazy for building rust bubbles. I too am interested in knowing where on the car are they. I would look for a clogged drain hole in the door, fender, etc. depending on where the rust bubbles are forming. It sounds like water is getting in but not draining out.

Links please, I have not found anything but rumors and would love to read if there is true information that GM is moving the Corvette to DOHC V8 engines. The weight gain would go against the weight loss they have been doing while still getting amazing performance out of the Pushrod V8. OK, My bad, Did not realize Corvette started in 1990 to offer a standard OHV V8 and a DOHC V8. http://www.edmunds.com/chevrolet/corvette/history/ Interesting to see the history line of what came when on Corvettes from the very beginning of their time line. 2nd update, really interesting going through the history, so in 1997 with the new model they dropped all engines and came out with the new 5.7 aluminum block. Since then they have had various sizes of the single in block came OHV engines making amazing HP and Torque. So we are then back to the rumors only of a DOHC Turbo V8. This from GM that talks about their silky smooth 335HP V6 yet only 283 Lbs of Torque just confirms for me that DOHC is no big deal. http://www.gm.com/mol/m-2015-may-2016-camaro-0516-camaro-powertrains.html One might as well just go turbo 4 or V8 and not waste time with the fat, over weight under torque DOHC V6.

No. Because the Cadillac fans have a LT4 in the CTSV. Not only that.. The ATS-V is a car in and of itself. For your constant instigating questions I pose this.. f@#kin C63AMG or M3 fans have an issue that the ZL1 will have 200 more Hp than they? I am all for a mid engine supercar at GM but it should wear a wreath and crest (yes bring the wreath back) and not a Chevy badge. This I totally agree with you on, a Mid engine supercar should be under the Cadillac label not chevy. Leave the corvette where it is as with it's own history and give Cadillac a proper supercar with a mid engine and let it roar. Not a rebadge of a corvette, though I admit I am one of those that did like the XLR, they just did not push the envelope far enough with it to stand out and be special. Agree, have a 300HP Turbo 4 base Camaro at $20,000 and you will get plenty of buyers.

RIGHT! So the Mustang is .5 lower CG, yet everything else is destroyed by the Camaro. The interior style, comfort, ergonomics, and styling comes across as Car and Driver is just throwing a bone to Ford as the Mustang is destroyed by the Camaro.
