  1. I would prefer not to give CNN my advertisement "click". They, and all other extremely biased news outlets. can suck it. If that article is posted somewhere outside of their site, I'll give it a read.
  2. Uhhhh why would I even spend time reading a source that's consistently proven to be extremely biased and full of crap? If somebody posted some Fox News BS I wouldn't expect you to read it just to dismiss it. It's already BS.
  3. Yeah, citing CNN as a spot on source... They've never been biased.
  4. The only thing I would change is the sound of the C63 because V8. Otherqwise, perfect! ..I see more G5's and G6's than GTO's or G8's.. ?
  5. They don't have a full EV but the Aviator is going to be a hybrid with "at least 30 miles of electric range".
  6. Personally, I think all of the new G's look great. One advantage this has over the Germans is the upgraded engine is roughly 5-10k less than the upgraded engine/trim than the Germans. $43,750 vs BMW340i $48,950 C43: $53,400 S4: $50,200
  7. I believe it is shared with the Stinger, fwiw.
  8. Or there isn't a business case well enough to justify changing their design language for a few EV sales quite yet.
  9. Did you read the article? " "The problem is, with the size of our vehicles and the frontal area we push through, current battery-power density limits the size of the car with a credible driving range. " The squared bodywork really screws up range. As we all have noticed, all EVs all wear very slippery bodywork. Uhhh.. vehicles that size can cram a crap ton of batteries of any size in them. We're talking the footprint of "most" vehicles with a Bentley in a vehicle not aerodynamically the most slippery. Also, Cummins is working on/has an electric Semi truck.
  10. I'm pretty sure that's correct. This package just seems like a way to con the consumer out of $3500(the package is worth about $1500, imo).
  11. This times a million!
  12. I also think a part of that is the perception of American made products aren't made to the standards of European or Japanese goods.
  13. Modern unions are mostly trash. Overpaid for their work and god forbid they do more work than their very specific work title.. I had a buddy work for a union for a bit and he legitimately got written up for doing MORE work because it was somebody else's job(who wasn't there) and he just did it do get it done so work could continue to flow. They're fckn trash these days. The initial intent was great but they've turned into a joke.
  14. This is a little dated and not automotive specific but it's quite significant. https://www.bls.gov/opub/mlr/2013/04/art2full.pdf
  15. "Called the AT4 Off-Road Performance Package, it will add a 6.2L V8, performance air intake, cat-back performance exhaust system, and a set Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac tires with 18-inch alloy wheels" This isn't even an appearance package though. It's literally an intake, cat-back exhaust and tires for $5,000. I mean I guess you get a different set of 18" wheels.. but it already comes with 18" wheels with the AT4 on "all terrain" tires.
  16. My assumption would be that there wasn't a warning in the manual stating you shouldn't hang young children from your key chain without repercussions.
  17. Oh I should have known it is sold in Canada.
  18. Oh I agree. The GLS definitely outsells it globally because as far as I know the 'Slade is US only.. This is I only care about . ? I don't think anybody is expecting them to rest on their laurels since the new Navigator came out and has stolen all of its attention, finally.
  19. It also sells 2:1 to the GLS ;) Maybe.. Just maybe Chevy gets a Cadillac engine..
  20. 5 grand for intake and exhaust? Doesn't the AT4 already come with some sweet off-road tires? What value am I missing? This looks like a raping from GM to the buyers.
  21. Oh IRS, I definitely agree. I was only thinking you were talking about the lack of DOHC for some reason. Yeah, IRS should have been available quite awhile ago. Especially with how much money that thing makes.
  22. It probably is but at the same time, what's wrong with it? Is it them being cheap in the Escalade or them balling out in the much cheaper Camaro/Silverados?
