  1. Speaking of underwear... I have been wearing boxers since 6th grade and I recently tried boxer-briefs to get more support (I'd rather not be painting the double-yellow lines on the roads when I get older) but they are too much like diapers. I think I need to get used to them. Croc: "Isn't he the one with the eyebrows?" I think I just died.
  2. Happy Birthday, guys!
  3. BrewS made another good point (I think he's on a roll). I know there are differences between the new Challenger and Camaro, and I am sure many of you Camaro fans can point out more, but they both look fairly much the same to me. Needless to say, neither appeal to me. I would take the Charger over the Challenger and I am almost positive I would take a next-gen RWD Impala over the Camaro. Edit: spelling.
  4. Tanning beds? Say it isn't true!
  5. Unfortunately, that's what it has become, Carbiz. Claim you were harrassed or discriminated against in some way and you can own the whole damn company.
  6. I suppose but I would like to think GM has realized not building their vehicles as best as they can be is one of the big reasons why it is in this mess. On any car, especially the Camaro, it needs to be go big or go home. If you are going to build it, build it right.
  7. Thank you guys for your side of the story, it does a lot to clear things up. To be fair, I would like to hear Josh's side of the story but I realize if posted publicly it would likely start a nuclear war so if you, Josh, would like to PM with it, I would be thankful. Again, to be fair. I would like to say that regardless of what actually happened, the mods did a great job keeping the site up and running as smoothly as possible. For me, I noticed nothing had changed. Yes, sometimes the server would crap out but that has been happening since I first arrived on the scene...nothing out of the ordinary.
  8. I highly doubt many media outlets are outright refusing to run GM advertisements. That would be a huge loss of money on their part. Perhaps are few are but not many, I am sure. This is a good change on GM's party, anyway. Skip past the middleman and go directly to the consumers, sort of. Like Carbiz said, better bang for your buck and it feels more personal. Sponsor a little league team with advertisements in the outfield or on the announcements between batters/innings instead of getting in the large local newspaper or on tv/radio.
  9. I admit I do not know the whole story but I don't think it is right that you, Josh, continue to pay for C&G.
  10. People with a little bit of brains and common sense realize there is no such thing as a corporate saint, media portrayal or not. Again, he couldn't find anything else to right about to he chose this. Frankly, an article on the 6-speed debacle would have been a better use of time and web space.
  11. For some reason, those wheels do not look right on the Aura, though. The Aura's overall design, though, seems to be a Chrysler thing.
  12. SV6. Edit: It has to be given a proper send-off.
  13. It isn't like Toyota is the only company or famous person who this has happened to. In my mind, what happened over at VW was a lot worse and you really didn't hear much about it's major problems in the U.S. The guy who did it, if he did it, is much more to blame than Toyota in the first place. BrewS is right, for once (lol). Yet another reason why I stopped reading this guy's blabber.
  14. Truely good news. The Camaro, CTS and midsize-large RWD sedans are going to have at least one awesome technologically-advanced powertrain. GM cannot pair this engine with a 4-speed!
  15. Yeah...how about a "Hotties I go to school with thread?"
  16. Josh, you kind of look a little like K-Fed. A little.
  17. Teri Hatcher (kind of old for me) Mandy Moore (not hot but beautiful; a big difference) Eva Longoria Tom Brady (not a movie star or singer but you get the idea)
  18. Thanks, Paolino, for Chris Evans.
  19. They do have valid points about the plood (it should be real if it isn't) and the third row build quality if it is a problem. I have yet to sit in one so I do not know. The lack of a fuel saving system is slightly disappointing but my reasoning is not about saving gas as much as it is appearing to be advanced...standard of the world-like.
  20. I thought it was real. The stuff on the ESV screams plood and I didn't notice it on the Escalade.
  21. That's if it gets the mileage and just like the Prius numbers, that's a big if.
  22. Good point, Enzl.
