2008 Dodge Avenger
I am looking forward to the Avenger. If DCX gets the interior right I think it has the best chance to challenge the Camry and Accord, mainly due to its exterior styling and preceived handling. The 3.5L V6 needs some more power, though. Just a little bit. I think Dodge made a good decision by making a baby Charger. Edit: The 4-speed needs to be ditched, though, and ABS and side airbags need to be standard across the range.

GM REVISES 1ST QUARTER 2006 EARNINGS
In other words, it is somewhat of an accounting trick.

Pictures!
Mid to upper 20's, I guess. Bob is right, you do look Eastern European. Bob, I see you are in love with the 747. Great plane!

GM plans to replace Saturn Ion with Opel car
Sounds (and looks) fantastic. The price versus the Ion went up enough to change people's minds about Saturn and is also high enough for a smaller, cheaper model to be brought in if need be. Fingers crossed for a smooth intro.

2007 Yukon Denali Paint Problem
Yeah, the engine compartment is fine, IMO, but the doors should be painted, especially on a Denali. It's just another example of GM missing the details and allowing the beancounters to take full control. They had to put a much nicer interior in it so the paint had to be dumbed down a bit. Otherwise, glad to see that you generally like the Yukon. At first, I did not like the look of them but I have seen a handful on the road and they are growing on me.

2007 Pontiac G5 (picture)
GM should just bring over the Wave and call it a day.

The Car Connection Connects with the Versa
PeterJ, Nissan quietly restated the MPG ratings a few weeks ago. It still gets acceptable mileage but 38MPG would have been amazing, especially with the engine. Ford and DCX seem to be missing from the sub-compact class, oddly. You may not make much off of these cars but they improve your image and CAFE scores, and bring in more sales.

VW Phaeton Review/Obituary
Fly is right on the money.

Next Gen C-Class
Seems the interior is a little bit revolutionary for a Benz.

NG Malibu
What I thought so thanks for confirming. You might want to call Motor Trend, though.

NG Malibu
Will the next-gen Malibu be on Sigma? Motor Trend believes the current-gen is on it, according to a one-year test verdict on the Maxx.

The First Test of a Versa-tile Machine
MT gave a good write up on the Versa. Apparently, it has as much rear leg room as the Maxima and the interior is top-notch. Amazing.

New Corsa Uncovered
I guess I am the only person who does not want this brought over? It is either too bland in regards to the direction Saturn wants to go, even though the Aura is, also, or the styling some how does not fit. The back end looks like a Chinese Versa ripoff. At least this yields more clues as to the next-gen VUE's rear end styling.

New Hyundai Elantra
While the interior looks pretty tight (why does Hyundai's economy car have a better interior than its midsize car?), the exterior is horrible. Bloaty, bland, weird.

Alfa--Back?
You may be surprised to hear this but so would I. Alfa performance may be good but the styling...ugh. The Brera looks like it suffers from fetal alcohol syndrome.

DCX recalls 45,000 Chargers, 300's & Magnums
The rental car companies are screaming right now.

Hannity and Colmes interview
The group is a bunch of inbreds who protest at military funerals, too. They have forced states to make laws against the practice. By the way, a scary amount of liberals believe September 11, 2001 was good, too. Just go to any college campus or Hollywood.

The First Test of a Versa-tile Machine
Now I see where GM got the rearend styling inspiration for the next-gen VUE.

Saw a new Camry Commercial
LOL. You're hilarious!

Crystal-Ball Gazing
Just answer me this one question, it is all I want to know: Does the future look bright?

Uncovered: The next VUE/Opel Antara!
The rear looks too Korean and the whole car has a Tuscon/Sportage-type vibe. The unpainted bumpers have to go, they screw up the upscale design and clash with the hot chrome accents. I do like the side profile and the side vents. I hope GM knocks the interior of this out of the park. Edit: I meant Sportage, not Sorento.

.....
I love that Denali grille and the fact that it looks more masculine than the Yukon. Then again, I do not think the Yukon face on a pickup truck would go over very well.

First Zeta hits the road in down under testing
Thanks for the tidbit. I never caught it before and it actually makes more sense than having one large RWD platform.

First Zeta hits the road in down under testing
I see a little bit of VW Passat. It does look small but it looks pretty good, too. Wasn't there a report that said the Zeta platform was overweight? I couldn't see it being fat based on this photo.
