  6. I get the impression they were ALL Yellow.
  7. In all seriousness, we had the Cavalier, Malibu, and Impala undercoated when we bought them... so I don't know WHAT is going on under there.
  8. I'll you and your family in my prayers. I'm blessed to have my grandparents on my dad's side still alive... My grandparents on my mom's side were older... so my Grandma MacDonald died in 1979 of a heart attack. My grandpa MacDonald was one of those small town Nova Scotia Presbyterian ministers... A rampant individualist who drove around in a station wagon loaded to the brim with everything he needed because "Preachers don't drive trucks". He was born in 1915 and took ill and was hospitalized about 2 months before I was born. I only met him once when my parents traveled with me to Nova Scotia... He baptized me on his deathbed and died about a month later... I don't remember the man, but at the same time I'm very thankful for what he did for me. My point is no matter how little time you spend with someone, there's always time to bond with them and make an impression on them, and them on you. You should be proud of the relationship you built with the man and know that there are things you learned from him you can apply to your life so he lives on inside of you.

  18. The 3.5L had some issues in its infancy in 1999 where something like 1 in 12 engines were terminally ill but those issues were resolved pretty quick... Just treat it as well as you'd treat a Northstar engine, because that's what it is essentially. Reliability otherwise is very good, and the 3.5L is a nice strong motor- silky smooth and not as masculine as the 3800 but with plenty of Gusto. I say go for it. Otherwise, it's a G-Body, so watch for wear on the brakes. They wear out a little quick.
  19. Well during the day today, it got down to -50... but that's still not as bad as last year's -57 fiasco around Valentines Day.
  20. What dealer, may I ask?
  21. As I sit typing this, snow blows and falls outside... The temperature? -46 Degrees. That's right, skin will FREEZE within four minutes. But that's by far not the bad news in this case... It's supposed to stay like this until Friday. Should I burn some Toyotas to keep warm? I can't be the only one bearing the brunt of winter- What's the weather like where you are?
