Diesel baby... 52 MPG! < what is going on with this site? I hit the "new comment" button and it dredges this up. Anyhoo, are you saying hatches in America need to be outfitted like this little bugger to be appealing?

Why is the Ecosport so far in the future? What the heck, how did this post insinuate itself into my plans for today?

Well I think the Cruze and Trax desperately need jazz and this does the trick. The Cruze LT hatch and Trax LT Redlines look good, imo.

Overall interesting looking vehicle, even if the back end resembles Grumpy Cat. I am an advocate of hatchbacks and the turbo with manual should get out of its own way (162 hp on the base engine is not bad either for the class). A couple of weeks ago we had SEVEN Sonatas lined up at one time for engine replacements. Things like that scare me even though the vehicles are not bad looking.

VW News: Volkswagen Believes Engine Downsize Trend Is Coming To A Close

Dude really now. A petrol turbo 3 is infinitely more practical than electric for FREEDOM. No one wants to be tied to a cord.- 7 replies

'73 Pontiac Ventura hatchback in what I believe to be factory orange, owner brought it in to us for an estimate... some rude individual keyed it. I didn't write it, but I had to take a look. It was a decent weekend driver, not a show winner, which makes it more perplexing that someone would think it was worth it to mar it up like that.

Chevrolet News:2017 Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 To Begin At $40,995
ocnblu replied to William Maley's topic in Chevrolet
It's just a sweet package and I can testify that I still see way more old-gen ZR2 pickups and Blazers on the road than lesser T-trucks... that stronger running gear and ready look transform them into trucks that ppl love to hold on to. -
I can see maybe $490 as it is priced on the Sentra, but for the rest of the lineup I think the package, although trendy and nice, is overpriced for wut you get. Plus, black paint is cheaper than any other color... so the manufacturer is saving money by painting trim parts black, yet charging estra for it, howbow dah?

Thanks for the link, Moltie, but when I go there I see no comment window. It is the same for all the threads in the sales ticker section.

Doggie feet (why do dog feet smell like Frito's?)
-
Duh I can't figure out how to get into the sales ticker section to comment. I wanted to defend F.I.A.T. - they must be doing something right, they've been around making automobiles since 1899, FFS.

Went 2 hours upcountry into the PA mountains yesterday to take advantage of a major award (my mom won a $250 shopping spree in a puzzle contest). It's a harder life for vehicles up there, shirley. A last-gen Century was in the parking lot... rocker panels completely gone from rust, but it was clearly still being driven daily. Also sawr a brand new, red Kia Niro Touring, fresh off the boat at a local dealership. A unique and sharp looking vehicle in person.
