That wouldn't be a bad choice, IMO. Fly would be the one to ask, of course. I remember my dad test drove a '95 Aurora in Jade Green way back in the day, but then we bought the LSS because it was like $9k cheaper.

Yep, that's pretty much it. Turbos provide better low-end power. I bet if you compare the dyno graphs of the 2.8T and the 3.6, the 2.8T actually has a flatter curve, and therefore would be faster when put in the same car.

Can you cite a source for us? I know the Escalade is getting a supercharged engine based on the 6.2L, but I am unaware what it's going to be called. I don't want an Escalade-V. A supercharged model is fine, but not if they call it "V-Series." They should just make the next Platinum editions supercharged.

It looks pretty good in those pics. I think it would look a lot better if this wasn't a basically base model and had wood on the steering wheel an shift knob. As, is, they stick out like sore thumbs because they're the only things that don't have wood or metal trim on them.

Huh? I don't think that's why it's not on the list. It just didn't happen to make the cut, I think. If that were the case, then the Aura shouldn't be there either, because it's really just a G6 with different styling an interior. The Sky is just as different from the Solstice as the Aura is from the G6, IMO.

By the time you got your's looking like that, you would have put so much money into it that you could buy something nicer. That's my take, at least, and why I can't decide whether to mod the GTO or not... the question I'm faving is: should I invest a bunch of money in it, or just save the money and buy something better later? And there's no real clear answer.

Ugh. It looks even worse in silver. The bumper, headlights, grill, and mirrors all look terrible. The inside is ok I guess, but not for a "premium" vehicle. The placement of the analog clock makes you wonder why they even bothered. It's supposed to be an elegant touch but it looks like an afterthought, and a poorly designed one at that.

It's not bad, but it looks like it can't decide whether to be edgy or swoopy. Also, it's more retro = not good. Now, that said, it wouldn't be a bad base for a 6th gen if refined and of course updated to look like a ~2015 vehicle, or a MCE for the 5th gen either.

You might be able to find a leftover G6 with the 2.4 if you want something similar, and you should be able to get a good deal on one of those.

Making them join to see exclusive stuff is a good idea, but other than that, I don't think it's necessary.

GM doesn't need to match Toyota, they need to beat them. Anyways, I don't think more retirees will really matter. Toyota is swimming in so much cash that even if they're profits are halved, they'll still have more dough than anyone else.
