I just bought an 37" HD LCD tv a week ago... the picture is phenomenal. As for fluorescent lights, I find the compact ones don't really have as cold a light as they used to. Having a combination of the two in a fixture or a room allows me to save some money. And when it's just me, I really don't mind the fluorescent. Years ago, I agree, they were harsh.

Something just looks really wrong about that.

Interesting... I live on Long Iceland in the winter and in 3 years I've never had a problem driving my friend's Prius in the snow or ice.

I disagree... I love the new CTS interior. But part of my decision is based on the fact that I prefer a symmetrical interior vs a driver-focused one.

Camino... it amazes me there's no rust. I can't even tell you how much rust I saw on a 2004 Bonneville today. It was one whole panel of solid rust--there was no evidence of paint left!

Think of it... the general public is not ready to look up to gay people. Parents are going to be narrow-minded, and kids, especially at the age I teach, think everything that's stupid and wrong, is "gay". They associate that word with something negative. You have a player come out, and his career, if it's not completely over, it's damaged severely. Why would someone who gets paid millions of dollars and gets to be famous, take that risk? On the other hand, being closeted SUCKS.

Ugh. Gay people are so, well, gay. I hate them.
