  1. Schiller-Nacht Flug (Night Flight)...chill out music http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NuOYz407ASI
  2. Wolfsheim. German retro sythpop...fun stuff. Once in a Lifetime Find You're Gone http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4su-e6Adg3Q
  3. They will... http://online.wsj.com/article/PR-CO-20130820-909267.html
  4. Nice...by the way, Auto World is a Tom Lowe venture, the man behind the Johnny Lightning revival in the '90s and Round 2 which has resurrected the classic AMT, MPC, and now Lindberg model kit brands.
  5. Well, offering a FWD entry level model would be consistent w/ the approach MB has and BMW is moving towards...the younger buyers at the entry level price point are use to FWD appliances and not discerning enough to demand RWD...so if Jag wants to pander to the indifferent masses, this is how they have to go..
  6. I like that upswept trim line..it's distinctive.
  7. And came back for '69 (300), '79 (Cordoba 300 edition) and in '83 on the Cordoba..
  8. Yes..what is interesting is the crosshair grille was originally a Chrysler grille (early 60s 300, for example) before Dodge started using their own version of it in 1985.
  9. Neat how the headlights, grille and taillights differ between the non-RS and RS.
  10. I like AAA for the stuck on the side of the freeway w/ a shredded tire in nasty weather scenario....when that happened, AAA was there quickly and got the spare on quickly. As far as replacing the shredded tire, that's what tire shops do... (or patching a flat). Or for getting tows..which is an unfortunate occasional occurrence when driving a 13 yr old vehicle w/ over 100k miles (towed 3 times in the last 4 years)...AAA is great for that.
  11. True enough...years ago before I had AAA, I changed flat tires myself more than once.
  12. Just saw the 'Broken Fence' ad whilst watching the NASCAR race...a man, a broken fence, saving a sheep (calf?) in the rain...it looks and sounds like a Viagra ad. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zJYjgVrNoVI
  13. In the US, aren't they more like 99% AWD?
  14. I would think you would want the high-mileage specific oil..that's what I use.
  15. I've never seen the one listed as 1971...interesting. I've found a number of pics online of '72-74-ish deVilles and Fleetwoods with the crest w/ V under it, and with and without a stand-up hood ornament w/ the wreath...the 71 pics I've found don't seem to have the V under the crest. (probably time to spawn off a separate thread about Caddy badging through the years).
  16. Seems like it would be a retrograde move...can't imagine any legitimate business reason to do so.
  17. Was '99 when they got rid of the duckies? I went outside and checked the '00 DTS..the grille emblem has no duckies, but the decklid one has them.
  18. Seems like a good rat rod/beater truck candidate...make it mechanically sound, leave the body as is or spray it all in primer and drive it...
  19. 'Elmiraj' reminds me of a Phoenix suburb...(El Mirage). Maybe the name is intentional...The Mirage...you think you see something then it's gone...concept cars come and go pretty fast usually.
  20. An American icon. A cousin of mine worked for Toyota in Kentucky building these for the last 20+ years...got a new one every couple of years. I wouldn't want one, but I understand their appeal..
  21. Hopefully they come up with a better name for the big sedan than 'LTS'...LTS is so dull, sounds like a Chevy trim level..
  22. The top view is probably my favorite angle...love the length of the hood, the sculpting of the hood and deck..and the proportions that are so clearly RWD and not weak FWD...
  23. Maybe this is a preview of the new wreathless emblem that's been mentioned previously...
  24. 205 is much better than 191, IMO. Maybe this isn't a CTS coupe concept but something larger, related to a future full size flagship sedan...
  25. The front and profile are great, but the rear--OMG And the top view...
