  1. It's odd...I recall seeing the ZDX at a new car show a couple years ago when it first came out, then very rarely ever saw them on the road. Then in the last week, have seen 3 of them on the road...(black, white, silver).
  2. Makes the Spark look like a luxury car... about the only thing this small here currently is the Mitsu i, I think...
  3. The Avalon is a nice Toyo-Buick. I have a friend that has one, refers to it as a Japanese Buick. A nice step above the ubiquitous Camry
  4. Coachmen makes a Pathfinder Class A motor home.. http://www.coachmenrv.com/products/pathfinder.aspx
  5. If it ran on CNG, though, you'd be all excited by it, though.
  6. Looking good..Weather Tech mats are great, I've had a set for over 10 years for my Jeep incl. the cargo area liner mat. They hold up really well.
  7. Looks like a nice clean, honest work truck. Low miles for the age, low price.
  8. I was told quite pointedly this week by some people at GM that the General is working hard at getting all of the volume sellers where they want first before working on the special cars that most of us around here wish for. They want their cars to be at or near the top of each major segment first. Have a good base and then work on the fun stuff. That is a sound approach. A company has to get the fundamentals right first.
  9. The local Cadillac store has at least 3 ATSes in stock..drove by the morning, saw a white one, a black one, and a silver blue one..
  10. Nope, just very little market demand. I like the look and colors of the interior....that new front end, though...
  11. 1) some old European truck? 2) '68 Mercury Cyclone 3) custom based on a '63 T-Bird 4) Bedford van
  12. Sounds like Faux News type garbage.
  13. I was in San Francisco the last few days for a conference and saw a few Fiat 500s around town, incl. a black Abarth. Even saw an old Fiat--an X1/9!
  14. My grandfather had a '40 Packard coupe, seen pics of it..it was my Dad's car for a while around 1947-1949... I'd look at the Graham (Sharknose) for it's audacious styling, but be put off by the struggling independent nature of the brand. Maybe go w/ a Buick or a Cadillac if I was one of the swells..
  15. There was an article back in the summer about people in the Phoenix area seeing only a 30-40 mile range, perhaps because of the vile, disgusting summer heat...
  16. It's understandable, though in an era where most cars are just appliances. Most consumers don't maintain their dishwasher, washing machine, etc until they break, no different w/ their garage appliances...
  17. I like it... definitely has a vintage Bond theme feel...fits well w/ the Shirley Bassie songs...looking fwd to the new Bond movie..
  18. On the GMC Canyon & Chevy Colorado, the fleet option is called a Mid-Box: That is a neat feature.
  19. Marketing. They are emphasizing Ram as Chrysler's truck brand, like Jeep is their SUV brand.
  20. Wild chase..don't think I've seen that movie.
  21. I'm sure the FWD ones sell well in sunbelt states...99% of drivers don't need off road capabilities.
  22. I find Hyundais overstyled and too cheesy in many of the details. The Golf is about the only FWD compact I could see myself in, it has a seriousness about it that I like...esp. the GTI...would be nice if the GTD was sold here.
  23. CA is one of my favorite old-car mags, along w/ Hemmings Classic Cars, Motor Trend Classic, Octane and Classic & Sports Car. I've subscribed to CA for 20 years now..
  24. Saw a clean dark gray '73-77 El Camino in traffic this morning...couldn't see the nose, so not sure of the year. Also saw a Chevy Colorado pickup with a door in the bedside--had a door handle just like on the cab..unusual...some sort of aftermarket work bed, maybe?
  25. You thinking about getting eyelashes for your Regal?
