  2. Took my Ambien as usual around 10:30 pm...now it's after 1am...groggy can't sleep..surfing the internet...maybe I should go for a swim or have a beer. Arrggggghhh
  3. Saw a gold '66 Chevelle ht this evening..very sharp condition. And a clean pale blue '64 or so Chevy pickup.
  4. That's a horrifying thought, 4 more years of the Repubs...the current 8 year run is 8 too many, IMHO...
  5. Hmmm....stale cars, stale cookies?
  6. The problem is, with the 6 middle brands GM has to prop up, Cadillac can't get the investment levels needed to be a full-line world class player. Such is reality.
  7. Yes, but Nissan has 2 international brands with platform/engine sharing...they don't have the burden that GM in NA has of supporting 6 middle brands...
  8. I doubt if that's the public...probably Avis/etc buying more Impalas, since the previous W rental queen (Grand Prix) is now out of production...
  9. Was sitting at the light this morning across the street from my local Cadillac store..they had a 1/2 dozen '08 CTSes, a white XLR, a couple STSes, a black STS-v, and a bright red G8 GT rotating on the corner dais... Shweeet.
  10. Interesting..6th gen Camaro perhaps.
  11. They don't seem to advertise it much.
  12. Then again, the Mustang is in the 4th model year of a design without substantial changes, so I would expect it to be down, even without the economy and gas prices..
  13. So any word on which brands will be getting Alpha models? Besides Cadillac....not Holden, then?
  14. Or option 3). Go mainstream and get a Malibu or Camry and quit yer whining...
  15. Actually, could it be the '96 Impala SS is the last NA RWD Chevy sedan ever? It sounds like their NA line is going to stay all FWD...
  16. Yeah, but the A7 4dr ht/convertible is probably going to be $75k And VW/Audi has a substantial development budget, unlike GM which now has about $500/division for new development, it seems.. reality bites.
  17. I drove by the local Cadillac store the morning, sat at the light beside it...had to resist the urge to go in and do some test drives..they had 5 CTSes in different colors on the front street-facing row, with a white XLR and a couple STSes, and a bright red G8 GT on the rotating dias.... drooll..

    My Humps

It's a good one..I like DSOM, Wish You Were Here, and The Wall more, though. And I love the post-Waters Gilmour era music also..I'm more of a Gilmour fan than a Waters fan. Speaking of long songs, one of my favorites is the over 14 minute live version of 'Telegraph Road' by Dire Straits...great lyrics, great guitar...
  19. That is hilarious... the scary thing is....that looks like a chubbier version of myself sitting in my pool...
  20. pointy (as in a cat's claws)

  22. Sweet...quite sharp for a FWD compact. Love the background..
  23. Sad. Zeta was one of GM's few decent platforms...actually, the only GM platforms I care about are Zeta, Sigma, Kappa, the Corvette and the rumoured Alpha. The good stuff..
  24. Diana Ross & The Supremes
  25. LOL.... Gravel's TV ads were profound.
